Hi People. Another ebay seller here.
I tend to sell clothes and a few Avon items on ebay and what used to cost £2.20 to post will now cost £5.20. That is seriously going to put buyers off!
For something like a set of body creams or a jumper, what would be the best postage option for me? I don't have a local drop off point so I will need a courier to collect from me and deliver to the recipient.
Is insurance included for delivery of low value items with MyHermes or do you always have to pay extra for insurance?
Thanks.0 -
lemony, myhermes basic option is insured to £25
if you want a signature on delivery and/or more than £25 insurance you need to select these options & it will cost extra
if you go on myhermes site it will do a quote & calculate the price if you input size, weight, item value etc etc0 -

It really just depends on dimensions and weight and where exactly in Europe. You could try using a parcel quote comparison site like parcelquote.net to get an overview of costs0 -

italy has a high rate of not recieved items , we have often posted stuff to our trusted friend there and it has taken a month by royal mail , so would likely end up in your buyer getting a refund
if you want to send there use a courrier that promises a few day signed for service0 -

royal mail will be cheapest
do you want insurance ?0 -
Don't remember seeing this posted on here but I may have missed it. Collect+ have removed the jiffy bag option from their postage rates. You can now send any box (maximum size 50cmx30cmx30cm as usual) weighing 0-2kg for £3.99.0
