Ordered the wireless set top box 3 days ago and that still says being prepared for delivery, must be either very busy or various items are out of stock. My new HD box took 4 working days to arrive so must have plenty of stock of these.0

Missed out a code
Just called and the operator didn't know about it and wouldn't honour anything for me, best I got was 25% for 6 months. Also no free wireless add-on for on demand. Decided to cancel.
Are the codes transferable?0 -
Just a data point.
I downgraded my Sky from the full package to the bare minimum about 6 months ago, and cancelled totally in October when my contract ended.
I had an email two weeks ago offering 75% off my TV (everything, inc sports and movies) for 12 months if I came back.
It was a targeted mailing, but there was no code. The guy on the phone just said "You've received an email giving you that offer? OK then, I'll get it processed."
Makes for incredibly reasonable TV for a year. If anyone has recently left, then it's probably worth a shot. They also gave me a £50 bill credit as a bonus. T&Cs say the offer ends on 20/12/12.0 -
Guy came around last week and installed my SKY+ HD box and mini dish.
Was very polite and did a very tidy job of it. Pleased with the whole experience.0 -
I have to be honest and say (probably due to my age and failing eye sight) I can't see any difference with HD and my previous Sky subscription. I will certainly be cancelling my HD contract after the twelve month period. Youngsters under 40 may notice the difference (as do my Grandchildren) but older eyes may find it to be a waste of £120 per annum.0

It significantly depends on the TV you use for the playback of the material.
our 50hz HD TV in the spare room looks awful at HD, the 400hz screen in the lounge looks fantastic...same stream in, different TV.0 -
£120??
Jesus!! I've seen proper HD on a good quality telly in stores & while the picture quality is incredibly, it's certainly not worth an extra £120 per year for it (opinion).0 -

New all singing and dancing Samsung 37" HD tv, perhaps I should go for the 3D option but don't fancy wearing the daft 3 D glasses all the time ( they were great when we watched Shrek at Universal Orlando but not really when you get home)0 -
You don't have to watch 3D all the time on a 3D tv, we're getting 3D cause it's an amazing deal, but we probably wont even watch anything in 3D0

Something is very wrong with your setup if you cannot see the difference between SD and HD if its a highend Samsung.0
