    Hi,

I had the same trouble, but you can enter the code once you find the right page. If you follow the link below you should be able to enter your code and proceed as normal.

    http://www.sky.com/shop/offercode

    Hope this helps

Still not working even with that link unfortunately... But thanks for your help

There is a fault with your code, others codes, including mine were accepted by Sky. At a point the codes werent being accepted as the site was busy.

The code you have may be showing as used in some way on Sky's systems based on what you have tried to do with it, MSE have nothing to do with that, as its something that Sky are refusing.

    Have you spoken to Sky?

    Will try Sky later, thanks
  • Have you tried on a different computer or smartphone? Sounds like it may be something on your computer causing it.

Either way I imagine if you phone them with the code they will honour it.

    Good luck.

I will call them up and ask for a call back (not paying 60p a min from a mobile lol).

Just used that live chat service on Sky. The rep was very pleasant although he could only but refer me to the 0844 number.

Edit... Just remembered I had that Say No To 0870 app for Android so I can use my inclusive mins. I really do dislike those 08 rip off numbers!

Dial through 0333 5432111 then - same cost as a normal 01 or 02 call (inclusive if you have such calls).
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

I am very confused as I am an existing HD customer and the offer seems to have changed since the codes have been released.

The original wording stated something like "50% off for new customers (or existing customers who have had for Sky 12+ months)". I cannot remember correct words but have a copy on my iPad at work as I did not shut down the page.

All my family interpreted this as new customers or existing customers - as long as they have had Sky for over 12 months. Three families, three packages, we all got codes - worth a lot of money.

However, the wording has now changed to "New Sky customers (or those who last had it over 12 months ago) can use these codes for a year's 50% off broadband and ALL TV packages" which is completely different and means that we are not elegible. My sister compared the two sets of wording (from then and now) on her computer as she didn't shut her computer down last night and kept the original webpage up and also confirms that the wording has changed.

What's happened? We thought that we were elegible, got excited when we got codes and now they are worth nothing and we have inadvertently stopped other people from obtaining and using these three codes.

From memory when i first saw the offer it said for customers who hadnt had sky for 12 months or new customers.

The reason I think that is i used to have sky and wasnt sure if i was eligible, but it was over 12 months ago so thought great i am ok
  • Just a note on this the fibre optic broadband isn't included in the 50% offer.

However, if you add the sky movies package you get £8 knocked off the £20 cost of the fibre optic broadband for the first 8 months. So you effectively get the movies package for free as with the 50% off this is discounted to £8.

If you add the sports package too though you lose the £8 discount for some reason!?!?!?
