hey choc, sounds like you have your hands full, I hate it when I've spent loads of time out of the house and allthe rushing about getting ready and grabbing something to eat, makes more mess than if you'd actually stayed in!!! Good luck talking to your supervisor.

OK so another load of washing in.

Jobs that have to be done today:
    finish ironing
    finish writing xmas cards
clean and tidy kitchen including floor.

And anything else I get done is a bonus!

ok, so I've started on the kitchen although i haven't really got too far, although I haven't really stopped, Trouble is I'm deep cleaning otherwise it's just pointless as I'll just have to go over it all again.

So I have spent over an hour, cleaning the cooker, its gas with six hobs, so it takes aaaaaages to clean it properly. So I even did all the nobs and the front of the ovens, and I spent half an hour cleaning the high chair! OH wanted this particular one, and it is a typical bloke design, looks really cool but is an absolute bu&&er to clean! So I took it all apart and managed to give it all a good scrub. I've also emptied the bin and the recycling and tidied away all the post and parcels from in the hallway downstairs. So now I am just having 5 minutes whilst roo sleeps to try and recoup a bit!I really would like to have the kitchen atleast half cleaned by the end of today, but done properly so that I don't have to keep going over and over it. I'm going to deep clean the bathroom again when Roo has a bath. I'm really hoping I can have the house sorted and clean enough so that I can start my routine next week. It does need tweaking a bit as I keep coming up with things that I've forgotten to include!

Well, I managed to clean the windowsill in the kitchen before roo woke up so still a lot to do, but doing a bit here and there until roo goes to bed should help. And of course a list of all the things that need doing. Ok, so:

    Clean outside of fridge
    Clean bin
    [STRIKE]Clean all outsides of cupboards[/STRIKE]
    Clean insides of cupboards
Sort the 4 cupboards that need sorting
Sort the 3 drawers that need sorting
    Wipe kick boards
    Clean inside of fridge
    Tidy top fridge
    [STRIKE]Wipe left work top + appliances[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Wipe right work top + appliances[/STRIKE]
    Clean dishwasher
    [STRIKE]Empty dishwasher[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Clean sink and drainer[/STRIKE]
    Clean away cobwebs
    [STRIKE]Wipe saucepan stand[/STRIKE]
    Tidy shelves
    [STRIKE]Go through cork board[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Wipe Dow utility door[/STRIKE]
    Hoover floor
    Scrub and mop floor

Omg what a long list!!!! I think it well take me most of tomorrow too!!!

Ok, I cooked me and roo some mushrOom pasta, I hate cooking when I've just cleaned the cooker, but I was very good, cleaned the hob after along with unloading and reloading the dishwasher and washing up all of Roos bottles and wiping down his high chair, so fortunately they're all nice still. Im just giving roo his milk as he's had his bath, whilst he was in there I cleaned the sink and the toilet :). So list for this evening:
    Wipe down cupboard fronts
    Clean bin
    Clean sink
    Wipe down worktops
    Hang up washing

If I get time or have the inclination
    Clean the saucepan shelves
    Clean cork board
    Clean outside of fridge
    Clean shelf
    Clean top of fridge
    Tidy Roos toys in hallway

So quite a bit to be getting on with :( but I'll stick christmas songs or food network on to keep me company. I'm getting there but oh so slowly. Fortunately I don't have any plans for the next few days so I guess it's the perfect time to get it sorted. Going to have another look at fly lady and see what I can work out routine wise to include all the extra things I've come up with.

Hope uou're all ok. Sorry if I'm boring you, not very interesting I know :(

    :rotfl:

I dont think I did too badly really :)

The kitchen looks really good, really clean and tidy for a change. Well apart from the floor and the fridge, oh and the cobwebs which are all appallingly bad, but I'm getting there. Really not looking forward to doing the floor, as there are some very stuck on things that I'm going to struggle to get off. I'm also not looking forward to doing the fridge as its one of those big american type ones and its black, so cleaning the outside is a nightmare, along with cleaning the inside :( But needs must I guess.

Really need to make a start on the rest of the house. The bedroom and bathroom are tidy ish, but the hallway, spare room, other bathroom and roos room are not :( And the living room, well...... the less said about that the better! But atleast I feel like I'm making headway, hopefully by monday morning, I will be able to be well on my way to domestic goddessness, yeah right!!!

Hey Karley, thanks for popping in. I've been really lazy today all I've done is Hoover through downstairs. I managed to fall down the stairs this morning, fortunately on my backside so haven't done baby any harm but have bruised my bum and carpet burned my arm. God my bum hurts, especially to sit down, so feeling a bit sorry for myself today. Could do with finishing off the Christmas cards today and maybe wrapping some presents. Much more exciting prospect than tidying!! Naughty i know when there's so much to do!

Hey missy hope your bum and arm are ok :) be careful lol

Your doing amazing, don't beat yourself up if you don't get it all done just be proud of what you have done :)

Took bubs to his first Christmas party at baby and toddler group, he hasn't been well for 3 weeks being sick daily and now has a chest infection so thought he'd be a nightmare, but he ate some of the buffet then sat on Santas knee it was very cute he didn't bother at all were as most of the other kids were either screaming or running away haha

Right best go need to get ready to go get DS. Take care xx
