    hi ya

well have had a busy day trying to sort the fish out, as they keep dying and were not sure why, so went to a shop to try and get some advice. Also fought our way through the city traffic to get Roo a bike hat, as we got him a trike for christmas and I'm a bit worried about him falling off and hitting his head. Goodness the traffic was bad today, seriously no parking spaces anywhere, just madness! I really cant be bothered to traipse around the sales, there really isnt anything I need that badly!

The house is still a tip but I am going to atleast try and make some headway in it tomorrow. Along with trying to take down the Christmas decorations well some of them atleast. I'm so sick of the house being a mess, I really need to get into my resolutions and sort myself out!!! That was the point of this diary afterall!!

I've just started reading the meal planning thread and the organised mum thread in the hope that they will push me in the right direction. Lists i think are the answer to getting organised in the first place, but actually following them through instead of just rewriting the lists to fit!!!

So, start as I mean to go on, tomorrow I will:
do 2 loads of washing and hang up to dry
    tidy kitchen (a mammoth task!!)
take down some of the christmas decorations

this doesnt seem like a lot, but baby steps and I've still got a very grumpy roo to try and entertain :(

Definately take it a step at a time. It is not easy when you have a small person who is demanding of your attention. Anything you can do is an achivement.

I feel like everytime i clean a room it just gets messed up again, so frustating.
  • Hi Missymoo81
congratulations on your plan, i very much need one. lol
my job is is earlies and lates and short shifts and sometimes nights, so my varying structure is going to be difficult.
You have now motivated me into working on a plan, tomorrow when i get a day off im going to sit down and work out my plan that co insides with my shift pattern, my dh works shifts and he does help around the house, but my dd who is terrible messy person will not lift a finger yet alone pay her way.... its a continual struggle some days to keep things clean, as if ive cleaned befor work i come home and the place is a mess. arguements start and then im the bad one... a plan is greatly needed. pantherchick

Grrrr just typed a huge long post only for my phone to lose it!

Hi painter chick, lovely to see you.

Well I've actually had more d a productive day than I first thought. I have washed and hung up 2 loads of washing and loaded the dishwasher and put it on. I've washed up and wiped the work tops over. The cooker still needs sorting but I don't think I'll get time for that today. I looked at my plan last night and changed a few things but then fell asleep! Really seem to be behind with everything at the moment! Have another 3 loads of washing to do, along with shed loads of sorting and cleaning. I just need to get organised! I bought two big laundry bags in dunelm mill a lights and darks one to sort out the washing as it piles up.

Well roo has had his tea and is in the bath, am a bit unsure as to whether I'm picking up OH, I'd imagine he's too drunk to even know what the time is or I'll get a text at 5.59 as I said I needed to know before 6 else Roo would be in bed. I'd quite like him to stay out if I'm honest, then I could have some time to myself to think of routines and plans, ooooh what an exciting life I lead!!

    Hope you're all ok.

Sorry Wendz managed to miss your post. That is exactly how I feel, as soon as I tidy something up it just ends up in a huge mess again very shortly afterwards!

Well just heard from OH and he's staying out, I'm pleased in the sense I can put roo straight to bed as he's super tired and I don't have to traipse him out in the rain, but I'm not looking forward to the drunken mess that's going to turn up at god knows what time, and guess what.... He hasn't got his key. If he's not back by ten I'm locking the doors!

I'm just going to finish feeding roo then make myself a nice cuppa, get the box of chocs from downstairs and have a chill out.

Oh one slight gripe today is, I sold a pone on flebay that a family member had bought from flebay last year and never used. It turns out its l0cked or something and cant be used. Unfortunately, I've already given her the money and she doesn't seem at all chuffed about giving the money back! Don't really know what to do?!

grrrrrrr, just issued the refund to the person which is fine, the family member will give me the money back, and I have just tried to withdraw my funds from paypal and as I've changed the name I've set it up with, I now have to send off loads of crap to change it over!!!!! so frustrating! Especially as there is over £100 in there! Why is nothing ever simple!

Yuk, OH is home and he's absolutely hammered, he can't even stand up without hanging on to something, I gave him a pony of water and told him to get into bed. He is going to be so hungover and were supposed to be going to his mothers for lunch! When I reminded him about lunch, he thought it was really funny! We'll see how funny he finds it tomorrow :)

Omg just felt the baby kick properly for the first time :) such a nice feeling! Shame OH is snoring and missed it!

Going to try and get a little bit more organised tomorrow if I can. I seem to have accumulated a lot of half used bottles and packets if things, I'm going to have a bin bag boogie and try and throw away 20 things to see how I get on. Oh and I need to put my Christmas presents away. So list for tomorrow

    Put away clean washing
    Do 2 loads of washing
    Unload dishwasher

Sundays always a bit of a funny day as we're usually out and about, so routine will start at new year now whilst I try and get a little bit more sorted before then. I think I'm going to print out my daily tasks a d have it in a little book thing so that I can see exactly what I'm doing when. Hmmmm oooohhh that might mean some new stationery.... For organisation purposes only of course. Oh meant to say, I also got some sticky hooks from dunelms today to hang my calendar to help with the organisation.

Sorry for rambling do much, but thanks for reading :)
