Hi Wendz, thanks. I don't really feel like I've achieved that much today even though I've been at it for most of the Day up until now only really stopping for lunch, but upstairs just looks as much of a mess as it did in the first place. But I have actually, sorted out and hung up al of the clothes including Roos, hung up the fresh load of washing. Put clean bedding on the bed bar the sheet which is still drying. Sorted out all the Xmas presents that we're laying about, started clearing the spare room bed which again was covered in crap. It is still a mess as I had to stop for lunch but but a lot of things have been put away. I've washed up all the bottled and put them away and made OH a packed lunch to take away with him as he's away tonight and all day tomorrow. I would get on with more stuff but Roo has decided he doesn't want to be upstairs anymore.

Don't be so hard on yourself lovely, i'm sure you've done loads and it prob does notice but you are focusing on the things still to be done. Imagine if you hadn't done anything that you've listed these past couple of days xx

Hey choc, hied your clearing out going?

Well or just done a task I was dreading, I've phoned the OU and set up my very late direct debit. Was on hold 20 minutes but I made good use of my time, cleaned the front of the cooker, wiped over the work tops again and all the appliances. Along with the outside of the fridge and deep cleaned the downstairs loo!! Rather pleased with myself :)

I want to chill out and relax later but I've got a boring book to read for my assignment :( x

It's going well. This evening it is time to take down the decorations, can't wait to get house back to normal.

Check you out multi tasking! I would say reading the book is relaxing but it's not the book of your choice ;) xx

I always feel so much better when the decs have come down, like the new year has really started.

And yes you're right reading my assignment is chilling out as such as I will have my feet up and be in bed, it's just a bit of a chore to read the book. But I think I'll do 2 hours worth of work tonight then I can have an hour or so afterwards to chill out. In theory anyway.... I must not get sidetracked!

I've been looki g around the house and keep seeing more jobs that need doing. Most of which are jobs I just really don't want to do and aren't necessarily big jobs but the longer I leave them the worse they seem to seem! So, I'm going make a list of them and see what I can do to get some of them done tomorrow as they're the sort of jobs that only need doing once. So fingers crossed I'll find the motivation tomorrow!!

Ok, so annoying/stupid jobs for tomorrow:

    Fit rod for laundry bag
Take coats upstairs and put away
    Phone jean patrique again!!
    Clear settle
    Clean bin lid
    Clean inside of fridge
    Bag up charity shop stuff
    Dust upstairs
    Clean bedside top and drawer
    Move fairy powder to garage
Take out recycling! Up and downstairs
Clear stairs of stuff I keep tripping over
Move and do something with birthday and Xmas cards
Get to the bottom of the laundry pile!!!
    Clean baking trays
    Take rubbish out
Empty disgusting pan and put it in the dishwasher
    Clean gross grill pan
I want to put on tht lost clean utility, but I know it's a long mammoth task, so maybe not!

It's going to take a lot to do some of those jobs, as most of them I really don't want to do.... But we'll see how I get on. Join me if you like lovelies and do some of those horrid jobs you keep putting off.

aaaarggghhh, a prime example of why I need to get organised, I've just spent 10 minutes trying to find my notes from my last tutorial!!! Surely its not that hard to keep things in order is it!!!??? Grrr now, reading and assignment stuff.

    ......and relax.....breathe...... :p

Decorations are down for me. Just need to get on and put them away in the loft....an area I try and avoid as that too needs de-cluttering and sorting

I'm with you on the horrible jobs hon. Loads sitting around me but just avoiding them. First thing first though, get general house sorted and then onto the other bits.

My job that I keep looking at and not doing is the shoes on the porch....hate hate hate loads of shoes lying about!!

    choc x

just stopped as finished the bit I was reading. I've calmed down a little thanks choc.

My thoughts on the horrid jobs are, that I can clean the floor in the kitchen tomorrow, but it will still need doing the day after, as will the hoovering etc etc, but if I leave it just for the day then I can get all these horrid jobs done and it will clear up a lot of mess in the process, and I don't really lose anything, no one is coming round and OH is away so only me to see the crumby floor.... well thats my theory anyway. :) Right my 5 mins is up more reading for me :(
