Hey, sorry for being quiet. Well I managed to get the house sorted in time for when OH came home. Had a day fixing the rented house and seein family. And this afternoon me and OH are off into the city to watch the hobbit and to go to Jamie's restaurant. So excited, a real treat! Left Roo with MiL which am a bit sad about but I hope he'll be ok. Had so much trouble finding something nice to wear, I'm the size of a house at he moment :( hope you're all ok and ready for Xmas x
  • Hi Missy. Another lurker here. I have gone wrong in my timetable recently so totally see where you are coming from. I have a 5 year old, a 2 year old and work parttime and although on paper i have lots of spare time my days vanish. Will have to refire my diary to keep me properly motivated. Good luck and keep posting. L2B.x

Thanks LTB, well I think I'm almost ready for Christmas, I picked up the tesco order today, and we went tO see family and I've just finished wrapping OHs presents. Although I do need to go and pick up his fish, some plants, some stones and an ornament thing so that it looks pretty, god I hope he likes his new tank. The tank looked really grubby as I got it from eBay but after I cleaned it all up it's fine :). We're planning on having a tidy up tomorrow morning then going off into the city to soak up the atmosphere and maybe have a Starbucks gingerbread latte :) then were going to get a Chinese and watch Arthur Christmas. We used to go out on Xmas eve and spend a fortune but obviously having roo and heaving another on the way we can't do that, so we don't mind treating ourselves a little with a takeaway etc. I guess I'd better prepare all the veg at some point tomorrow too.... There be we seems to be enough time in the day does there?! Like you LTB, on paper I have tons of free time but I couldn't even try and tell you where it goes, because I honestly don't have a clue!!

Anyway, best I go to bed. OH is downstairs wrapping presents, I offered to help but I was just in the way, but in the time it took me to clean the kitchen, and wrap 13 presents,OH had managed to wrap one!!!!! In between looking for CDs to put on, getting and drinking beer and looking at the fish!! He's got atleast 30 presents to wrap, either he'll be at it all night, or he'll fall asleep in the middle of it all tonight!

Well, that's Christmas done! It's been absolutely hectic! I don't feel like my feet have touched the ground! I got some beautiful presents, lots of books to keep me busy! And 2 magazine subscriptions. OH has just gone out to MOT the car, so me and Roo are playing. Bless him hes not been himself. I don't think he's all that well, I think it might be his teeth :( think were having a quiet couple of days. I hate this inbetween time, I feel a bit like I'm in limbo, anyone else feel like that?

    Hey ladies,

Merry Christmas! Glad to see you both had a lovely time. Flies by too quickly.

Wendz hubby had to work all of xmas, didn't see him until the evening :( It is weird being off when they are out working. Not long until you can say "i'm getting married this year"!!!! How exciting!!!

Missy - loving the books. I got Life of Pi.....really wanted to see the movie but hate seeing the movie before I read the book as I feel that reading a book lets your imagination run wild with the story and you can create the pictures in your own mind whereas if I had seen the movie before the reading the book i'd only have those images in my head and be trying to corresponde it to parts of the movie. Does that make sense??? Check me out waffling...sorry!!

I soooooooooo can't wait for 2013 and some changes.....new year, fresh start. I'm thinking of starting to play the cello again. I played it for over 5 years when at school and am absolutely in love with its sound so I am thinking of perhaps buying a second hand one and re-teaching myself. Watch out neighbours!! I'm also thinking of taking up horse riding - never done it and always something I would love to have done, so researching some adult lessons. Although if we're ever lucky enough to fall pregnant then guess that'll have to stop for a while. Other hobby i've not done in ages is climbing so my mission is to get back into that both indoor and outdoor in the summer! Phew....mission statement written, lol :)

    Have a lovely day xxx

Hey Wendz and choc, I'm sorry both your OHs had to work, rubbish!

I really want 2013 to be here. I'm starting to get back into my routine thinking again, OH said he'd give me a hand to sort some stuff out, although what with Christmas and all we have more stuff than ever! OH has asked very nicely if he can play on his computer games tonight that he got for Christmas, which will give me chance to read some of one of my books and to do some research into time management, didn't know if a self help book would help??

And yes I hate seeing the movie before I've read the book choc, apart from
In the case of Harry Potter, I actually liked seeing the film first.

Right speak later my lovelies xx
