The point of these diaries is not to be shiney and happy and all great ALL the time. The point is to get support when your making progress, AND when you're feeling like it's all terrible.
In a lot of ways it's far more important when it's not going well. Certainly those are the times when I tend to think "stuff it" and throw money at the problem :rotfl:
I hope you are feeling better today. Christmas shopping is horrible sometimes, but it sounds like you're nearly there.

Thanks for your kind words. Haven't had a much better day today to be honest. Just feel really down and crap. I spent the afternoon making cupcakes which was nice, as I'm going to a friends dress party and she asked me to make them, they're not very good as the colouring didnt take too well, and they're light green instead of dark, and some have loads of balls on and some dont but they'll be ok. I was all set to do a whole other batch just now, and then go to tesco with roo first thing, but i thought how stupid it was to rush around so ridiculously when I've already made 24 cakes!
OH has spent the evening asking whats wrong, ive told him how im feeling, but he seems to have taken offence to that and seems to be in a strop himself. very helpful, why are men such pains in the bums.
I was really naughty today and bought myself some reduced lillies, they are beautifl and are just about to open. I love seeing them in the bedroom, they remind me of my favourite hotel.
Does anyone else get in real down moods and feel rubbish and really struggle to get out of them, and the longer theyre in a mood the worse it gets? If you do, how do you get out of it? I'm really struggling.....0 -
Hey Missy,
Sorry to hear you are feeling so down in the dumps and OH not being too understanding.
I too get down and feel low and if i'm honest it just takes me a while to come around. Normally it's outside factors that cause me to feel down in the dumps i.e. not being able to keep on top of things, never having any money, not being able to fall pregnant....every now and again it gets all consuming and I feel totally fed up and then do things like eat ridiculous amounts which in turn make me feel worse as I want to lose weight or I go and spend money which again makes me feel bad as I want to clear debts...ha ha...I don't really help myself!
Just be kind to yourself lovely and take time out for you. You'll get there, perhaps you just need some shut down time. You've been mega busy of late xxx0 -
Just taking roo for his first hair cut. Is it bad that I feel a bit sad about it? X0

Not at all. All of my friends were sad when they had to take their little ones for their first hair cut. xx0 -
OK well I had a day out today, made mince pies in the morning, saw some family and met up with some friends, and actually had two hours without Roo to be me for a bit. And do you know what, it felt good! So I'm feeling renewed and re-energised, and ready for tomorrow. I think one of the reasons ive been feeling so negative is because everything around me is so negative, all the mess and clutter and washing etc etc is really not helping, the house is feeliing quite clostraphobic, so I am going to do something about it tomorrow and see how far I can get with sorting it out!
speak soon x0 -
morning, well so far today I have, changed the bed and hung up some washing and made me and roo some tea. Everywhere is such a mess, it really is going to take some time to try and sort it out.
Still trying to sort out my career, I'm struggling a little as I don't think I can do what i want to do.... but we'll see what I can find out.
Hmmm I feel another cup of coffee coming on.0 -
Morning lovely!
A great start to your day and a well deserved coffee break required
Just keep at it slowly today and you'll start to see the results. If it helps, i've woken to my house in chaos as both hubby and I been out for past few days in evenings and working by day so nothing done and we have wooden flooring being laid in the lounge on Saturday! Eek! I think I may need some time off tomorrow to prepare for it...hmmm...now to butter up supervisor, lol!
Good luck today and I hope you hear something back re your career. xxxx0
