Quick update, things are moving on.

I now have 2 letters from Debt Recovery Plus Ltd.

The first from mid May asking for £149.00 and the second, a Notice of Intended Litigation from 2 weeks later suggesting a CCJ, a hit on my credit rating and fees taking the amount to £251.

    What next, peeps?

    Matt.

It will be the 'reduced payment offer' of course, as shown under several PPCs in the PPC letter chains sticky that you should just be playing snap against:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2329119

or could be this one, a slightly different version of the reduced payment offer:

then Zenith letters like the one shown under Euro Car Parks in the sticky thread...then nothing. You'll miss 'em when the letters stop!

    I do envy you.

I have been parking just over the lines every week at my local Tesco deliberately.

More than a year later .... Nothing!

loads of people at my local Asda (not me) park in disabled bays without badges displayed and park on yellow lines and taxi bays - the parking company don't do anything!

Thanks for that :) that would be probably be the full set of carp from them. On the figures, they can't decide what is supposed to be owing

Initial cost is £50.00 full amount is £90.00 on the notice to keeper. Then next letter it says the ticket is £100, and a further £40.00 has been added so taking the total to £110 (lol) It's sent to DR+ and the figure is £149.00 with no explanation why. Onwards to the discount to £119.20, and further discount to £80.00 after

So what is the loss here?

    £50.00
    £80.00
    £90.00
    £100.00
    £110.00
    £119.20
    £149.00

This is why amongst other things it won't go to court, they can't even decide what is owing, and they suck at maths

Look at the signature of Claire Robinson, collections manager on the first Debt recovery plus letter you posted, next look at the signature of James Wilkins, Litigation manager at Zenith.
    spot anything?

Is that a sex change/confused person and a promotion at the same time?

If i receive any of these then I would be straight down to Tesco to demand an answer from the manager, and then start a complaint process against that Tesco.

A car park 'managed by the site' isn't Tesco's responsibility so they are right. Simply send a written complaint to the managing agents of the retail park (Google the name of the place and find the contact).

But thanks for posting the full set of DRP/Zenith letters because I for one get bored to tears by the constant new threads of posters who shout 'heeeeeeeeeeeelp I have got a DRP letter' when all they need to do is flippin' search the keyword 'Recovery' and read threads like these.

I notice that DRP and Zenith have hardly changed their letters in years!
