    Good Morning all.

Well I am back at work so will be updating regularly again. I fell off the wagon completely in the last 2 weeks  So I will be spending the rest of the month on a very tight budget and will hopefully not do to much damage to my lloyds OD. But nevermind life happens sometimes and it's my own fault. I learnt to knit while I was off which meant I bought needles and wool. Although I have made 2 scarfs which I going to be christmas presents for some friends so that's not to bad is it?

My current account is currently £89 OD and I am waiting for Quidco to transfer £22 into it. And I still need to pay my £500 back in from my A and L account. So things aren't that bad, but they are not great either. But as I have managed to get myself back in this situation I will manage to get myself out of it again.

I have my car booked in for it's service on wedns which hopefully will come within the £127.00 I have saved up for it. If not I'll just have to start repaying my lloyds OD again.

So feeling ok, I'm getting back to normal, just need an easy week as my frist one back and I am sure I'll be back to normal soon.

Well done. You've been feeling rough but you haven't gone too badly off the rails just think what you would have spent in the past - yikes!!!
Congratulations on getting below the £9500, reaching those landmarks is a great feeling!

It's could have been much worse your right. it's just not a nice feeling knowing that I've made things worse for myself. But I'll sort it out, I always do. Plus I've realised now which means I can control it for the rest of the month.

I just need to be really careful.

Well done Lucy - imagine what you would hve done had you not had your LBM!

Do you have any little ones to buy Christmas presents for? Me and DD saw the CUTEST knitted things at a craft fair this weekend - one was a little farm, with all the tiny farm animals knitted, then stuffed. I think you can get the patterns free from the internet and apparently they don't take long (I wouldn't know :) ). Just a thought?

No, I don't have any little ones. Although i am thinking of moving onto bobble hats, but only once I've been paid!! I've got a tester ball at home to teach myself the stitches, but I guess in the long run it will work out a cheaper way of doing christmas as I can spread the cost.

Just had a quick look at my budget as it might not be as bad as I think it is. Still looks like I will go OD, but hopefully it wont be by much.

Edit - I will pay some off and not add to it!

Hmm.. you've got me thinking now Lucy! I wouldn't make them for my kids but perhaps if I dug out the needles, I could make them for cousins, friend's kids etc. Hmmm....or will it just end up being a half finished project again lol.

Good luck with the bobble hats!

Some might see it as cheap, but at least time and thought will have gone into it. I have a really good book which shows you how to make some really nice things, not so much your old fashioned cardi's etc, more funky scarfs and wraps etc.

Great gifts. And it keeps me busy so I'm not eating or out spending even more money!!
