Sorry to hear that Lucy - just look how well you've done (both with money and the weight loss) so far and keep positive. Is it the debt that's getting you down or other stuff?

I think it's a combination of stuff to be honest. I am really struggling to cope. I've seen my doctor so that's ok and my Head of Department know's I am suffering from Depression. It just doesn't help day to day.

I really need a holiday in the sun, but can't afford one and I was going to save my payrise money, but know I'll feel guilty so I'm just going to carry on paying my debt and then think about having a holiday.

Just finding everything a big struggle and I have no energy to really do anything. I think I'm just having a bad day today.

If you think a holiday in the sun would make a big difference maybe you should go for it - might stop you falling of the wagon if you get really down. but then again maybe the numbers going down would help more...

Hope today improves for you and you feel a wee bit better soon.

    Thanks

I have a feeling, it's going to take some time. But I'm just trying to take one step at a time and I'll be ok, I normally am.

    Hi Lucy,

Sorry you are feeling so low at the moment, hopefully things will change around for you soon.
Congrats on the pay rise! Always good news...

Are you a member of Quidco? The reason I ask is that on the homepage is a promotion for Gala bingo online, which I would not normally do..... but if you go via the Quidco link and register with Gala and deposit £10, quidco will pay you cashback of £30, easily making £20. Plus you can play the Kerchingo bingo game online with your £10 and Gala give you £5 - once £5 of original £10 is spent.
P.S I won £20 on my original £10 and instantly withdrew the £20 back to my card. The game was very boring, but £40 for 30 mins work not bad!
By the way I do not work for Gala and do not advice gambling!

    Morning

I've not been around much this week. My Doctor has signed me off for 2 weeks to have a bit of a rest and hopefully feel a bit better when I go back to work a week on Monday.

I've not really been doing to much moneysaving and dipped a little into my OD  but my payrise has hit this month's money :T so while I don't have as much as I should do the fact that I am OD doesn't really affect the budget's I've already set out. Just need to alter them to show the money I have been paid. But as everything is on disc I will do that this afternoon.

Feeling very moneysaving at the moment. I cancelled my home internet connection about 3 months ago and haven't missed it until now. But I am sat in my local library using one of their computers for free. How good is that! I have a few figures to update my sig with so I will go and do that in a minute. Then I am going to get OH's Birthday present (which I have saved up for) and then petrol as I am currently running on vapours!!

Only problem with being ill, my food has suffered, I've eaten anything and everything that has come at me, but I am feeling much more positive today and I am determind to have a better week. Although I am feeling much more relaxed which is probably why I am feeling so much better. Still got to keep it up.

I have a family party tomorrow and I still need to work out what I am going to wear. A job for me and mum this afternoon I think. Anyway, off to update my sig. Might try and log in next week and see how things are going.

    Have fun x

    Hi Guys.

Well the weekend went ok. I'm feeling much more relaxed. I've had my loan reapyments go out of my account so that's good. My total figure is going down :T I've worked out all of my budgets for this month which I am really please with. Still have some payments to make so I'll drop below the £9,500 mark, which is really good, it feels like I am making really progress again.

I'm back to work next monday but will hopefully be able to get an update in before then.

Just off to get up to date with my piggy clicks. So starting to feel a little positive about things again. But I MUST get OH's birthday present today, I've transfered the money from my savings, I just need to remember to buy it now... I am suffering from a really bad memory at the moment.

Hope everyone has a good week and if I don't update before hand I will see you on Monday
