Afternoon.
Thought I would post again to keep myself on the straight and narrow. I'm still on track for a NSD and I have passed te danger zone that is lunchtime :T
I am due to be going to for a drink with OH tonight.... but will only drink Coke as driving which means I'm ok with one drink and he always gets the first (that bad isn't it) so I am going to try and not spending anything tonight either. In fact will not take any money with me, if we do need any then I will have to go to the cash point. But I am going to try really hard not to.
Managing to get through some fiddly jobs at work which is making me feel better and I have written myself a list of stuff I need to do at the weekend. Sticking to my diet really well, I've used 1 syn on some extra light mayo and I can have up to 10 syns a day so I am on target for a good day there to. So still excited and positive about everything. I just wish that time would go a bit quicker as I really want to go home and enjoy my sorting weekend.
Oh and it's only 2 week until the new Harry Potter book comes out, already have mine on order from preLBM days. But really looking forward to settling down and reading it.
I'll let you know on Monday how many NSD I manage, but I'm hoping for a full set. Need to kick start myself again. But it's great writing NSD! in my spending diary.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Morning
Well I managed 3 NSD over the weekend :T which I am very proud of. Just need to try and keep it up for the next couple of weeks. I've worked out that once I've paid for petrol I have about £21 to last me until the 20th and I am having my hair cut on Saturday  although it is only £7.50 so I should be ok. I've brought lunch with me to work and tonight I am having left over's from last nights dinner.
I actually sorted through so things for a car boot at the weekend as I have an action plan for each evening, because if it's nice on Sunday Mum and I are going to do that car boot which will hopefully raise some nice money to pay off my store card. I've give Mum one of my stamps and as I only had enough for my 3 sc payments I am now going to try and pay my store card off in 2 months as I then don't have to buy any more stamps and the card goes quicker. I thought that sounded like a good idea and that way I should be able to pay more off my OD before christmas.
I've been really good on my diet as well so I am hoping for a good loss on Thursday night, but a lot can go wrong between now and then so I am going to try really hard with food and money and see where I am this time next week.
So feeling positive today and I am hoping that this lasts as I would really like to stay in credit this month even if it is only 1p :rotfl:

Hey Lucy
Looks like you have everything well planned. I only have about £5 on my bank account but I have some cash at home for food and stuff. It's depressing being so broke at the beginning of the month!
Your posts are always really inspirational. So thanks for that and good luck for your next SW meetingDon't ever be anybody's slogan because you are poetry

Right
I have just worked out that to pay my store card off in 2 payments I need to pay off £162.50 (excluding any interest) I currently have £107.02 towards my next payment and I need to find £55.48.
Will I get this from a car boot? I know that last time I did one I raised over £100 but I had some big sales. I suppose I just need to make the most of the things I have to sell, I've washed and ironed a load of old clothes and I am going to dig my old uni kitchen stuff out of the cupboard as I don't use it. But I guess any little helps and if I have to pay another stamp then so be it, but I would really like to try to pay it off in 2 lumps if I can. I'll just need to try really hard.
Hopefully my Quidco money will arrive at some point soon, it says July so we shall see, as that would be a nice £27 towards my card. That's the bit I hate, waiting for all these little things to come through so you can pay something off, it's really very irritating.
To top it all my sore throat seems to be getting worse and I'm starting to feel really under the weather. Not good for a monday morning.
Oh well, back to work and moneysaving.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Hi
I've seen my doctor and she thinks that I am suffering from depression so I am now waiting for a counselling apointment to come through. But I guess I can get something sorted out now.
I've just spoken to my head of department and bursted into tears on himBut he was really good and said that if there is any way the company can help me he'll push for them to do it. But I don't think I need anything at the moment.
I'm trying to concentrate on work, but finding it a little difficult, but at least my boss knows why.
Still sorting things out for the car boot and I am about to hit the cupboard at the top of the stairs tonight  hopefully I will survive. But I seem to be finding some good stuff so hopefully will get about £50 for it (well anything would be good really)
So I'm plodding along trying to get things sorted but I think it will take time and I need to make some space for myself and relax. But I really need to get some work done as well.
Wish me luck as I think I am going to need it.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Awww you poor thing... all I'll say is take time for yourself. I have no words of wisdom. But lots of hugs xxxx"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Afternoon!!
I've been give a pay rise of just over £1000 per year:j :T I can't wait to get my first full pay packet so I can work out my new debt repayments. Looks like my debt free date could be coming closer!!!
Doesn't seem to have been to bad a day really. Off home in 20 mins and will sort through the cupboard on top of the stairs for things to car boot. Getting loads together so will hopefully be able to make some money:beer:

Morning
I was chatting to my Mum about the payrise last night and we have come to a decision. Once it comes through properly I am going to pay the extra into a savings account and go on holiday for a long weekend or a week.
Given my depression we thought it would be a good idea for me to get away from everything for a little while. Not very DFW, but sometimes needs must and it means that I'll still over pay one everything before christmas as I will find something cheap so would only need 2-3 months of savings.
But I am feeling a bit brighter this morning. I've had another couple of Amazon sales and I already have some to post today. I'm aiming for a low spend day, but need to buy ham and bacon at lunchtime.
But I'm off to see how much a cheap holiday in the sun costs so I can work out what I need to save.

afternoon.
Still having a good day and I have managed to get some work done, so I must be feeling better. Although I have realised I need to get some new shoes  I only have one brown pair and they are rubbing the back of my heel. I've lost so much weight most of my shoes don't fit. I have 2 pairs that need reheeling (and fit) but I can't really afford to get them done. It's like a losing situation.
Mum is going into town today and I am tempted to get her to look and see if there are any sales on. But I know I don't really have the money.
So we shall see.
