OK
I managed to spend far more than was really needed yesterday but did get enough pasta veggies to make about 4 meals.
I've just got petrol on the way into work and I am NOT going to spend any more today. I am cooking dinner for OH tonight so will be having a quiet night in.
I have some Amazon parcels to post again today which is good as I am having a nice clear out at home and would recommend it to everyone. I made some Slimming World cake last night so that will last me a little while (another reason shopping was a bit high!) I really need to start sorting through everything I have at home as Mum and I are going to do a car boot as soon as the weather gets a bit better. I have loads of stuff left over from Uni that I am never going to use again so I might as well try and make some money out of it. Only problem is it's going to take me days to go through it all  Still every little helps doesn't it.
Right I have one more debt payment to go out this month and that should leave on the 1st which means I will have paid off at least (depending on Amazon) £512 this month :T Which I am really please with and if I can keep this up for a couple of months I should be able to make a really good dent between now and Christmas. I don't have a total figure as a target for Christmas but I would like to pay off my Store card and at least half of my OD which is £739.02 side from my normal payments, which I should do.
Hmmm... I feel a challenge coming on.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Hi Lucy,
Your diary is getting really long now... I try to read it everyday. Well done so far....
We're doing a car boot sale soon as I'm getting my own place and want rid of a lot of crap!! Sorry really useful, interesting items other people will want to buy..... any money I get will be going towards my own place fund.

Sounds like a really good plan.
I will move out of home at some point, but would like to do that once I only have my big loan to pay for. If we make it, may just simply slide into OH's place and start paying half the bills (we earn about the same) But I want to be more secure before I do that.
Anything I make at the car boot will go into my debt savings account to be paid off my store card. I am determind to get rid of that one next as the APR is terrible! But cutting down my spending would help so I'm going to try really hard to do that as well.
All of my Amazon sales go into my OD account which means it is going down really slowly. I know it's 0% interest for a year but it makes me feel better knowing that every month a small amount is being paid off it.
Good luck with the carboot and let me know how you get on. I made £100 at the last one I did, but I had some good junk to get rid of. I'm hoping to get the students this time round as I have my old kitchen stuff to get rid off. I would get new (Read Cheap) when I move out again.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
I lost 2 and a half pounds :j
So I am really pleased with that, just need to keep up the hard work now. Had a bit of a treat last night and made myself feel sickso all set for this week as I now don't want anything naughty.
Got a busy day at work as my boss is now on holiday for 2 weeks. Had a bit of a shock when I check my bank balance this morning as it was less that I thought it would be. Then I realised that the payment for my store card had left my account, which means the balance is about right
So I am going to have another good day. I've spent 16p on some paracetamol as I was in need this morning and I'm getting lunch at work which is £1.15p for a jacket spud and beans. Other than that I am going to try and spend nothing else. Although I am going to see Travis with OH tonight so that may change.
Have a good day everyone and a good weekend xCurrent debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Morning Lucy,
Well done on your weight loss
I'm trying to be good.... I found SW was good for me but I can't afford to go. Am I right in saying it works on the green & red days? Green = carbs with little amount of meat and red = meat with small amount of carbs?
Are Muller lights still classed as free food?
Whereabouts in Wiltshire are you?

I am currently sat in the office, which is in relatively sunny Chippenham!
Your right SW does working like that, Muller lights are still free although tinned macaroni cheese isn't, personally can't stand the stuff! I had to find the money as I know I wouldn't stick to it if I didn't go. But I tend to get countdown's now which means I get 2 weeks free, always good.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

well it's nearly lunchtime and I have got some work done.
I am not going to Sainsbury's at lunchtime. I think I need to limit myself on once a week! As I am spending far to much over there. Unless I need to go I am going to stay in the office at lunchtimes.
Feeling a little flat as I have just found out the my ex married about 18 months after we split... it took me nearly 3 years to get over
Anyway. I'm going to have a NS Lunchtime and then rush to the post office before they go on strike and I can't post any Amazon parcels!!
Hi Lucy,
Just seen this comment you posted. I can empathise with how you feel on this. My ex was having affair for whole 13 years of our relationship and literally the minute I said I wanted a divorce he took up with a woman with 3 kids and is now living with her. I on the other hand have found it very hard to move on and move forward. Its now just over a year since we split and I don't feel ready for another proper relationship.
But like you I feel that he needed to be punished as it were by being on his own etc for what he did to me. Life doesn't work like that though does it. Shame!0 -

I agree with the sobbing... I wouldn't mind so much as there are only 2 of us in my department today, but my computer doesn't want to work properly and it has just taken me 10 mins to send an email!!!
Fortunately MSE seems to be working okCurrent debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

No it's not fair, but in a way I'm glad it took me so long to get over, as I know who I am now. We had been together since I was 18, so I went from livign at home to being in a serious relationship. But I have taken some time out to enjoy myself, I now have a good job and great friends.
I took looking for another relationship very slowing and I did get it wrong about 2 years ago, but I made a really good friend out of it. We decided we would be great if it wasn't for issues!! :rotfl: I think that the most important thing to remember is that you are the most important thing now. I had a friend who thought that giving me a month and then taking me clubbing would solve everything!!! Needless to say it didn't and we now don't speak as she didn't have the patience to let me go through my emotions. He had just come back from Iraq and part of me even wished he had been killed out there because he would have still been the man I thought he was. Terrible I know, but there you go, I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
Just take it slowly and one day when you are ready you will find someone new.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0
