I have just paid £430 off my OD and with the money from my Amazon transfer (that is somewhere between Amazon and me!) I'll pay it off completely and have £20 credit in my account
I'm really pleased, it feels like one trip to the bank is going to change my life! No more paying interest on my OD, just a good 12 months to pay it off :j In a way the best birthday present I could have given myself.
But now I need to put my nose to the grind stone and concentrate of keeping in budget and paying everything off as quickly as I can. I'm going to make an appointment with Lloyds to reduce their OD right down so I can't go into it again.
I'm so excited :T :T :T :j :j :jCurrent debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Morning
Well I had a good weekend, only spent money that I got for my Birthday and I spent it on me rather than on debts which was my first thought!
I have a really bad back at the moment so I am trying to make a doctors appointment. I've had real problems in the past and slipped a disc in 2004. So really painful! But I'm stressed which is what's causing this, well at least I think it is. I have an appointment for 9.40 now so we shall see what the doctor says.
But I have been eating really badly so I'm going to try and be really good for the next 2 days and see if that helps any. I really don't want to put anything on!!
Money is going ok, I get paid tomorrow and I am currently about £30 OD. Which isn't to bad, I had to get petrol at the weekend as I drove to Shepton Mallet and back on Sunday. But I guess £30 is better than £450! And I intend to have a cheap month this month. I'm delaying my Service so I can pay for it with money from my savings which I can pay into again. It's only a small amount, but it makes me feel better!
I have a few Amazon parcels to post today and other than that I am going to have a no spend day. No spend and no syns!! Well that's the aim anyway!
I'll let you know how I get on before I go home this evening. And I am going to try and relax and not stress myself out any more than I already need to.
So My Goals for today:
Don't get stressed
Post Amazon parcels
Update spreadsheets and spending diary.
Eat well and healthy.
Get another early night (maybe)
Wish me luck xCurrent debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

I'm already taking some painkillers that I was given last time this happened. I'm feeling a bit cheated really. I was told by the woman I saw when I was refered in 2004 that losing some weight would help!
I've lost over 4 stone and I'm still suffering!!!
But we shall see what they say. How's the slimming going?Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
It's ok thanks- weigh in tonight, but I really don't know how I've done this week. Was intending on getting up at 6 this morning and going for a run, but I didn't even manage to do that so feeling a little dispondent.
Did you go to an osteopath last time with your back? Ilove them but didn't go when I did my back in - will be next time!!

I can't remember.
The problem is genetic. My ligaments are longer than normal so don't hold my spine very well. Which means my muscles do instead, but when get stressed and tense they have so much to do that occasionally they give out, which is what I am worried they are going to do.
I'll see what they say. All good fun, but I shouldn't be suffering at my age, I was only 25 on saturday!!!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Well I am back from the Doctor's. He thinks that my back problems as down to stress. But has told me to take my strong painkillers with paracetamol and try to relax!!!
It always sounds so easy doesn't it. But I stopped on the way back to work and got myself a Bach rescue remedy and some paracetamol and I am going to go home tonight, cook myself a nice meal and then chill out and have another early night. And with this amount of drugs inside me I should sleep really well!
I'm not allowed to do to much exercise, only light and gentle (not that I was even doing that!) So I am going to try and get my head into work and not stress out any more than I already am, then RELAX!!!
Currently sat drinking my rescue remedy and eating grapes! Nearly lunchtime will really try to get stuck into work after lunch and see how much I get done by 4.30pm.
But I have posted my Amazon parcels and I have been eating well. So I am getting a few things done.
But my NSD has gone out the window as I had to buy things. Oh well there is always tomorrow.

Well it's payday today!!!
I have transfered £500 into my A and L account for the first time (my OD money has left the account) So I should be in credit in about 4 days (hopefully) Then I am going to leave the money there for about a week and then pay it back into my Lloyds account.
My back is feeling a bit better today. I chilled out at home last night and I have been taking my painkillers. Hopefully I'll be feeling fine again soon. Although one bad thing has come from this, as I am stressed I've been eating and my diet has gone out of the window!!! But I keep thinking it is only one week and sometimes life gets in the way. So I am going to do as little damage as I can today and then get back into it as soon as I can. I'll have put on this week but nevermind. I hate the fact I comfort eat
But on a happier note I have had another debt repayment go out of my account today!! :T and I have had some savings go into 2 savings accounts. I have OH's and Mum's birthday at the end of July beginning of August and thought I had better put some money away for them. So long as the weather is nice Mum and I are going to do a carboot sale on the 15th July. Which gives us plenty of time to organise ourselves.
But I'll drop back under the £10,000 mark again this month and I have £15 in my Amazon seller account waiting to be transfered into my OD account. So little by little I will have less to pay off there
But I'm feeling a little mixed today. I can see everything being paid off which is good, but I still stressed which is making everything really hard work.
But I need to keep going and not let it get to me.

Well I've had lunch and I have stuck to my diet
So looking good for today. I guess I will have still put on tomorrow night, but hopefully one really good day will limit the damage a bit.
I didn't spend anything at lunchtime so that's another good thing, although I did get a few things on my way into work. I might make myself SW carrot cake tonight... Well I'll see if I can be bothered!
But back is still hurting, but I am coping with it, so that's another thing I can be pleased about.
I'm trying to take everything step by step at the moment and I am determind not to go into town and buy myself something on the way home. I'm going to be strong as I know I'll only feel guilty about it.
Hope everyone is having a good day xCurrent debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
