I will cancel the OD. I've already cut it from £2000  from when I was at uni. I'm so looking forward to being OD free, just thought of seeing all of my wages in credit makes me all lightheaded!! It's the little things isn't it, I can't even think about how much money I'll have spare when it's all paid off... That's a bridge to far at the moment!!

Glad your Amazoning!! As I keep thinking better £10 in my account and sat on a shelf doing nothing! Good way of having a spring clean to.

I know that's my problem really. Stopping the small spending is harder than you think. But I'll get there, this month has been the best for a long time, but I think that because I know I've had to pay for my car tax and insurance.

I'm also determind to not touch the Amazon money which is helping.

    Good Morning everyone.

Well I have done one of my tasks for the day. Which was to go through my budget, spreadsheets and internet banking statements and work out what has been paid, how much I've spent and what still needs to go out. Done all of that and I have about another £99.17p worth of budgeted amounts to go out and I'm due to have £79 come in from Amazon which is leaving me with £36.72p in my account.

I have loads of Amazon parcels to post today, but they will all be going 2nd class as there are about 12 of them  But I already have £10 put aside for this (it's going to come to more, but there you go  ) And I still have £80 aside for my OD. Which means while it's looking a bit tight, I shouldn't have to much of a problem so long as I watch what I spend for the next 20 days (roll on payday!)

But I have notice that I am still spending a bit more than I earn. Or I am this month anyway. But I think that might have something to do with spending £136.86 on road tax and insurance! So maybe it's not that bad! :T Actually looking at it, if I hadn't needed to do that I would be within my pay pack. Well that is incouraging! But thank god for Amazon.

So hopefully I'll aim for loads of NSD or at least LowSD!! I have a 30th birthday tonight, but I'm not drinking so should be cheap and if the rain holds off a music festival tomorrow night, but I already have the money put aside for that one.

Hopefully I'll manage this ok, it's a little worrying as this is one of the first times that I've bothered to work out how much money I have left, I've a rough idea of when these things go out and baring 2 direct debts the rest is for petrol or my weekly living allowance, which means I have some control over it and can try to be really good on my living allowance, there is very little I can do about the petrol  except the petrol money Mum offers me when I take her places!

Sorry this is a bit of a long waffle, but I find that it helps sort things out in my head.

May have to fit in a car boot and see if that raises some more cash... need to find a free weekend

But if you have any ideas on how to keep spending down I'd appreciate it. I know things aren't as tight as for some of you, but I do find it a bit scary. Although as I am trying to living within my income, I'm not sure why! :rotfl:
