Sounds great Lucy - I'd agree that it's a brilliant feeling of control when it all gets sorted, isn't it? Have you started a savings pot for the nexttime your tax is due? I save £5 a month and put it in a special Ing Direct account for car tax. Means less each month, but it does mean no big pay outs...

Carry on with the amazoning - sounds brilliant! :)

I have a savings account for my car which I'm going to pay in £50 a month at the moment and more when I can afford it. As my MOT and servcie are due in March and June, once I've covered this service I'm basically saving for next year.

Once I've got a bit more spare cash I'm going to stick a few big amounts into it and then hopefully I'll be covered for everything. Well thats the plan anyway!

Lucy, I know you've said already, but I've forgotten! How much more weight do you want to lose? I think we have a similar amount to lose now and maybe it would be motivating if we have a little friendly competition? I have about 2 stone to go before I'll be happy I think, but I have no idea about time scale. I know I want to lose a stone by the end of July, but this might be a little soon and I want to be at target by this christmas and my birthday so I can ask for clothes for christmas!! lol!

    Oooo Sea!!

I love a competion!! I have another 2 stone 5 and a half pounds to lose. Ideally I want to lose the 5 1/2 pounds by my birthday on the 16th, although this will be pushing it.

But I would like to lose a stone by my Aunts memorial party on 21st July.

    Sounds good x

You've made me feel really good.

Let me know how you get on. I've just posted loads of Amazon parcels (cost about £15  ) But have £13 something being transfered as we speak and another £60 sat in my Amazon holding account :j

Very addictive! I've given up trying not to look at it while I'm at work :rotfl:

Well. Just had a very nice jacket spud and beans. :D which I didn't bring into work with me as the cupboards were bare! But lunch cost me £1.15! Not bad, not something to do everyday day, but not a bad treat once in a while.

As I am trying to be good with my food and get a really good weight loss this week, I'm not going to be buying anymore food either :j Just need to do some exercise now.

I had a good day on the foo d- took picnic (so I took SW cheesey chicken pasta bake and fruit) so free and good too :)

So you want to lose a stone in about 7 weeks - yes? I'll attempt the same - only 2lbs a week so achieveable. I weigh in on a Tuesday so will go from next tues and will hopefully lose quite a bit as had a rather large (false I think) gain this week!

Right it's nearly the weekend and I can leave work in another 20 mins :j

I've got another long weekend as I have a hospital appointment on Monday. I'm going to have a camera shoved up my nose  but to be honest slightly more worried about the really expensive car parking in the hospital car park

But I just wanted to wish everyone a very good weekend and I'll be back on monday, hopefully without the camera!!

    Have fun

    Hi Lucy,

Having a camera shoved up your nose doesn't sound like much fun. Is there somewhere within walking distance that has cheaper/free parking? Or perhaps the bus would be cheaper than hospital parking? Or maybe you have a friend who lives nearby and you can park at theres? Or a really helpful friend who'll drop you off and pick you up ... if you pay their petrol (bound to be less than extortionate hospital parking).
    Pennies make pounds.
