I do, but I can't access Ebay from work and I cancelled my home internet connection (couldn't justify the £14.99 spent on it and free Sky broadband wouldn't work) I have some clothes, but was thinking of doing a car boot with them and some other bits.

    Is it worth ebaying clothes?

I also don't like the idea of paying up front even if something doesn't sell! How very DFW is that!!

    Morning

Well it's about 8.30 and I have already finished off the chocolate bar from yesterday :EasterBun But as I felt ill when I got up I've decided that wasn't a very good idea, but now it's gone and I can't eat it later :T Still not sure on the logic of that one, but never mind!

I'd love to say I'm going to have a NSD today, but that it so not going to happen, I have about 6 Amazon parcels to post out. Which brings in money but going to the post office is such a hassle.

However my bookcase is looking so much better now. Mum is really impressed with the money I've made.

I'm really thinking the chocolate wasn't a good idea.... Looks like it might kill or cure at the moment... personally going with kill. _pale_

Cool! I've just checked my bank account and another repayment has gone out :D Which means I am now £112 overdrawn, but my non overdraft debt goes down under the £9,800 mark  That's a nice surprise as I wasn't expecting it to go out until tomorrow, it's only a small payment but I can't overpay and it's 0% APR so all ok.

Looks like today could be ok, just hoping the pain killers work!!

Poor you - hugs- hope you feel better soon!

Good news about the debt - it's wonderful reading how positive you are now about all the debt and how much you're feeling good about your mum being proud of you (rather long winded there I think!!).

I started a little fund just for postage - would save the profit in a separate account and then when I had a certain amount would stop but then I could use that for postage and not destroy my NSD as actually wasn't spending money that was already mine!! Helped psychologically!

Sounds like a really good idea Sea. I might do that now. I can set up another internet savings account, earn some interest and then I can transfer the postage money across!

My goodness some people are so clever!!

    Thanks Sea!

Just opened a new savings account and transfered £10 in to cover postage, I'm going to try and pop some money in there once the most recent Amazon payment has hit my account.

It's great before becoming a DFW I had 2 savings accounts, one for me and one for my car. I now have 4! :T The old 2, one for my overdraft and now one for postage. The new ones have their interest paid monthly as I figured money would be moving in and out of them each month so it would be a good idea to earn while the monies in there!

I keep forgetting that it's the little changes that really make a difference. Eventually I'll change the reason for the accounts and have one for my car insurance and one for Christmas/Birthdays, but I need to be more financially secure before I start doing that.

I just get so excited when I see all my money in these little pots and I know that it's saved for a reason, not just randomly put away.... Lord how sad am I!!!

Right I have just transfered another £30 into my overdraft account. I'm going to pay at least £80 off my overdraft this month. I still have a £50 buffer to get me through to pay day on 20th June. Everything is budgeted for, so this is for emergencies and if it's not used will just go off the overdraft :j

Again it's really nice to know that I'll take a big chunk off the overdraft this month and still have some money to play with if needed. I have £51.51 sat in my Amazon account and as it's not due to transfer over until 11th June hopefully it'll get bigger and bigger.

Thank goodness for Amazon. I've also had a look at next months budget (I can't help but plan ahead) and even if I pay £70 into savings I should still have £100 sat in my account and hopefully this will pay for my car to be serviced. Means I may not pay so much off my overdraft next month, but as I'm overpaying now I feel ok with this.

I mean not every month is going to be great is it? And I do still need to live so all is good in the world.

Hi Lucy, sounds like another positive day ahead! Are you planning to cancel your OD when you have paid it off? I cant wait until the day I am in the black not the red! :)

Just wanted to say thanks - you inspired me to pop a couple of items on Amazon yesterday - won't get more than £10 for them but it all helps doesn't it xx
