Thanks for the info mioliere I may invest in a pipette later today. The ear drops may stink but the pharmacy assistant told me that they are the most natural ones you can buy over the counter so that was why I chose them.
I'm pretty sure that its a build up of wax (sorry to anyone reading this while eating.
). If I look into her ear in sunlight I can actually see the wax. So, I'm happy to keep using the drops for the next two or three days. If there is no noticeable improvement by Monday then I will make an appointment for the G.P. At least if she does need her ear syringing then the wax should be soft enough by then.
Update - just put her drops in, left them for a couple of minutes and put the cotton wool in, as directed. Definitely some wax on the cotton wool so I won't panic just yet. Thanks again though mioliere. x"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Well I'm ready to leave, just waiting for everyone else
I had a quick inspection of the house LOL, it's worse than I thought. Everyone's been leaving bits and pieces everywhere all week and it looks VERY MESSY. How come I didn't notice it building up?
Looks like I'll have to do more than just hoover
MATH I'm not sure you should be let out of the house, every time you go out you end up in an arguement :rotfl:Bulletproof0 -
Good Morning All
snowy owl hope you pick up soon!
penny-pincher my mum paid £60 for a full lamb last yr, and it was prepared into joints, chops, ribs, etc. Just phone a few butchers to see what the going rate is! I still think £40 is reasonable
dlb fingers crossed for the football at the week end!
Had a restless night sleep, woke up at 5.10am, and tossed from the on.
Its looking cold & cloudly here today, not sure if I want to risk putting the washing out! I will see if it improves before work.
my nephew popped in last night again. He's due to go to Spain on Sunday, but his passport hasn't arrived. If its not here by sat, he will pop over to Liverpool. Ive told him to ring today as you can only go with an appointment!
I will attempt to ring my dad today. Ive still had no response from the other day, when I rang or text him!
Took me ages to list a few items on ebay last night. Considering Im on broadband, the system was slow, or it could have been ebay itself, what with the 10p listing day, probably everyone was using it.
Had a good sort through those freecycle clothes. Some fit some dont.Never mind!
Right best be off & take DD to school, DS like's to walk.
Have a great day

Morning,
Bit cooler here today. Not sure what our plans are for today as DH has woken up with a headache.
Yesterday was really lovely. We had the boat to ourselves which was lucky. It can hold 10 which would be a tight squeeze. The gourmet picnic was yummy and it was so relaxing. Saw lots of mummy geese/ducks & their chicks on the water which was sweet.
((((((((hugs)))))))) to those under the weather.
Rage I hope you get back to posting soon.
BgnRzl I must have had a blonde moment.
Tired Mum How frustratingly mad for you. Hang in there, she can't play anymore tricks like that.
Peem I was busy surfing the web last night to find out which day the free day was. I couldn't find it. Grrrrrrrrrrrr:mad: fancy it being tomorrow. Have a lovely time.
Well off to have a shower. Have a great day everyone. ByeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.

Good morning:D
Excited today, because I'm going away for the weekend! Nowhere particularly exciting but I will be waited on and that's good enough;) DH's birthday on Monday (St. George's Day ) and although he's not in work we thought we'd rather be at home for that and go away for the weekend. So it's a quick swish and swipe round the house, then pack and hit the road after an early lunch.:j
Hope all the poorly people get better soon, (((((hugs))))))to all.
Bye, see you next week:wave:

:hello: Gooood Morning

*dons proudest Mum hat* - parents evening for d11yo was an absolute joy!! Words such as “shining star”, “top 3” and “excellent” were the order of the day and the poor lad wasn’t sure if he should sit straight faced or beam unashamedly and finally settled for a serious-look-with-small-occasional-grin stance.
His music teacher clearly thought the sun shone out of all orifices and gushed that his music ability was that of a Yr 9 and was completely stunned to learn that, no, he doesn’t play trumpet or piano. She had convinced herself he had music lessons … er … nopey! Brooked the question, son, do you *want* music lessons seeing as it’s something you’re good at? No, he’s not interested, he simply enjoys the lessons at school (full credit to the teacher then!!
) I could gush for pages on the subject but won’t bore you all, suffice to say, he’s doing himself proud in his efforts and ability
… now if he could juuuuust apply similar principles to putting his dirty socks in the laundry bag and not hide them in bizarre places ….
Going to venture into the loft, dust and air “The Suitcase” ready for d12yo. A chance to go over the checklist once more; I’m certain everything is in order, but it won’t hurt to go over it.
Tomorrow we are out for the day, having a celebratory lunch out with friends. There’s quite a crowd going, so should be a really good day.
Swimming in coupons at the moment, for some reason Lurpak sent me a money off plus a free lurpak in the form of vouchers, Debenhams have sent a couple, Tesco have sent some and Sainsbury’ too. Need to collate them really and see how I can get the best usage from them.
Got a wash load ready to go out and the BM is going to provide a cranberry and walnut loaf. Bit of coursework to do and then I need to get to the shops.
Hope those who had a bad night/yuk heads/been poorly will improve during the day. Catch you all later ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hi all!
DS16 finally heard from Waitrose where he has had 2 interviews. Message left on answer machine requesting sizes for uniform! No start date or days he`s working or the department! So I have been ` allowed` to ring them today and find out! Only ` allowed` to do certain things in case he feels a severe loss of independence but that`s no bad thing!
So tomorrow he has audition at X Factor to look forward to so I`ll let you all know if he gets through! I dont think he minds if he doesnt but is quite keen of going to the Arsenal Stadium anyway!
Loads of washing in store for me and will make a couple of cakes for lunchboxes - ginger and a fruit cake. Meeting up with a friend later.
Have a good day!

Other friends asked the other day if we would be interested in buying half a cow and some lamb from a farm they know in Wales. Think it was 20kg beef for £85 and £40 for half a lamb.....is this good? ...
The only way to know for sure is to work out how much it's costing you per kilo, for example your beef works out at £4.25 per kilo and I think thats a brilliant price! What weight will your half lamb be?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
