Disappointingly no UU so far this month
almost makes me feel dirty but i have been washing, moisturising etc :rotfl:.
Trying to make a dent in the boring section of the stash aka the aged bits which means Lidl hand soap as Bubble bath (bars of soap for hand soap) Avon care moisturiser and the massive bottles of Tresemme.
Big hugs to those who have been having a rough time of it of late, hold on in there 2013 gunna be a gd year for all of us.

a BS shower gel cost £1 with Glamour joy card and a very extravegant box of Elemis goodies from the Spa we went to including frangipan shower gel and oil:)
Sorry that your looked forward to weekend did not go well. The frangipani is lovely, spoil yourself and use it soon. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
I've been ransacked by the dear OH so I have a few outs.
Original Source lemon Shower Gel
Lush solid shampoo
HUGE tub of aqueous cream
I've also used up a superdrug handwash- WBA because it was nice.0 -
Thanks for all your best wishes, kindness and advice on how to stay warm. The kettle is my new best friend at the moment, it's not the same washing your hands if freezing cold water. Thankfully MIL & FIL don't live to far off so went there to wash my hair today. I have an electric radiator on in the living room and the door is shut so it's not too unpleasant in there. In the bed room I have switched on my heated clothes rail and shut the door so at least it is removing the worst of the cold. My wheat pillow is also brilliant to have. Thankfully the landlord has also got in touch and he will call tomorrow a local gas engineer he has used for many years just to get a 2nd opinion what to do with the boiler. I am so grateful that the landlord is a caring one after having read a lot horror stories on the shelter website. I wont be using a lot toiletries until the hot water is back and I keep reminding myself that it could be worse.
I have one UU today, La Source body scrub, this is a WNBA for me since it is not scrubby enough. I will now start to use elemis frangipani body scrub, hopefully it is as good as it smells. No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Lordy we are having a tough time of it on the thread this month, huge hugs to everyone having a hard time for whatever reason. It will surely all get better in 2013!
I have had a few UU this week (and no ins which is most surprising for December)
Body Shop Seaweed Clarifying night treatment - WNBA, I was never very sure what to do with it to be honest. I never worked out if it was a moisturiser or a blemish treatment type product and can definitely live without it!
Liz Earle Skin Repair moisturiser - WBA, I liked the texture of this and could use it in the day or at night. I may have asked my mum to buy me a LE set for xmas so will hopefully get more soon!
2nd Edition perfume - WNBA, I have no idea where this came from, it looks like its off some dodgy market stall but has been in my stash for years! I used it up on principle even though I have much nicer perfumes in the stash.
Keep your heads up ladies, whatever life is throwing at you at the momentNo more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018
35 UU / 13 unnecessary ins0 -

Oh thank goodness for that. I agree about a second opinion on the boiler.
British Gas ummed and ahhed about servicing mine and it was only five years old - it was a very cheap one, but all I could afford at the time. They wanted me to buy a new one from them of course.
They failed to turn up for service appointments three times, - TG I work from home - and when the boiler was replaced I told them not to bother not turning up again, as I didn't want them looking at it anyway.
I should have really pursued it as I paid a lot of money each month for a service they never provided, but I was so relieved to have my heating done I didn't.
Just to clarify, my graduation will be when I am down to just two or three of each item I use - body lotion/oil /butter, shower gel/cream/milk, face creams/balms/serums/lotions aren't there yet.
Shampoo and conditioner was though and I've just accepted a trial for these!
I've got there with a lot of things - hair dyes, anti-perspirants, perfumes, body sprays, leave - in conditioners, foot cream/balm, dry shampoo, lip balms, hair spray. I don't do baths due to restricted mobility.
I don't count make up as I only wear lipstick, my eyes are too deep set for eyeshadow etc, foundation has always makes me look worse and mascara bats off on my cheekbones. Low-maintenance, that's me!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -

Another one having a bit of a tough time here I'm afraid
. Rocky marriage, my daughter has hit the terrible twos with the force of a bullet train, my studying is going badly (next exam mid-January), and to top it off I'm being thrown out of my nice office next week with only 3 days notice to pack - to a horrible place half the size with no working toilet. I could go on but I'm too tired
I put together a box of toiletries for a local DV charity doing an xmas gift appeal (like the national make-up one a few here have donated to). It's a subject close to home so I wanted to put some nice things in - including a bar of chocolate. So I've had 13 GAs there.
No UUs but no INs either lately."Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."0 -
