You're most welcome to join us, Skintypops! It's lovely to have you with us.
Have fun saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 5 of page 1. Please read through post 1as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.
* Please pop your number on your sig, it helps a lot.Oh wouldn't it be terrible if someone said, found £5 'tillkill' today and potted it!!
You've a wicked sense of humour, mossy! Though it wouldn't be the first time that an SPC member had potted cash left in similar situations.
*******************************************************
*All I ask is that no one sees someone leave cash..and then scoops it up! Put yourselves in that position, it wouldn't feel good, especially if it was all you had.
*******************************************************
BTW mossy, however did you mange to demolish a flapjack AND a Terry's chocolate orange???????! :eek:I love TCO's but a whole one!!!!
Good to hear you had it to fall back on, hopefulmoneysaver.

A good idea, gien, in keeping a total to put in your new Terramundi. My pot weighs 3.03lb today. It is full. It is only small, around the size of a 400g tin of beans. I got it earlier thsi year from dot com gift shop. I have one more to use then I am moving on to a more suitable sized tin.
That was quick, Mel!! VERY well done! Onward with the other one. :jYay, my lovely tin can money boxes came from Mr.Postman today!!!!! Lets hope they are full by November!!!
All the best with them, Emily, you can do it!!!

Helloooo Everyone,
Just popping in to say potted a couple of golden nuggets and a little bit of shrapnel. They had a charity crib collecting inside Mr. M's this morning and I found a stray 20p in my pocket which was earmarked for the pot but it is the season of goodwill and all that and I couldn't walk past it now could I Sue???? Hope I am forgiven
It will probably be lean-pickings for the pot over the next couple of weeks but hopefully there will be a few NSDs too.
Just in case I'm not back anymore til after the hols - hope you all have a lovely xmas and all the very best for 2013.
Take care everyone

Why thank you (re the sense of humour)I also have a terrible affliction in producing accidental puns...they get worse when I'm with my mum....lord help us all over Christmas lol!! :rotfl:
I have seen a stray £10 floating to the floor before but fortunately managed to chase the person and return it!!I'd never like to take advantage of another person's misfortune although I do get a strange urge to rugby tackle people when I see them finding roadkill....
As for eating a whole chocolate orange, well I did give DD a couple of slices but what can I say...it's another special talent of mine lol!! :rotfl: :EasterBun
Potted £2.50 change from the takeaway this evening, would have been £2.60 but DD requested something for her pot!Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!:starmod: Emergency Fund Savings - #148 - £10/£1000 1% :starmod::xmastree:#083 SPC6 £63 - SPC7 £90 - SPC8 £63 - SPC9 £54 - SPC10 £26 - SPC12 £70 :xmastree:0 -

3 x £2 coins in the tin today and a handful of change for the pot, including a shiny 2p roadkill from next to the hole in the wall
first one of the new pot :j :j
Had an interesting night with DH last night who went to bed with a temp of 38 and ear and throat infection, tried to get up and collapsed on the floor trapping his sciatic nerve. Couldnt get up so we had a emergency response team and an ambulance come tearing up the street for him and a nice trip to A&E which thankfully was empty so were seen relatively quickly.
Hes still in pain and doped up on anti inflamatories, painkillers etcSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

jakes-mum I do hope he recovers, and is well enough for tuesday!!
As for misfortunes( literally!) over here, I'm thinking the idea of Re-starting my pot on january 1st is great, money is having to go here there and everywhere this month. (Including the £20 my mum gave me for the next week that magically disappeared from the car to the front door):(
Phoned my two nieces to wish them happy Christmas, and told my sister about the pot that i'm starting, She's found a giant coffee jar and got the girls to decorate it and has started! Much easier to spread the word than i thought!:T:D
DebtFreeASAP- I'm guessing you do a weekly pot?:eek:1924 Sealed Pot Challenge 2013 Money at the moment-£64.30 :j:j
