  • I was supposed to post this this morning but forgot :(

It's payday today and yet i still have £35 in notes and £8 in pound coins in my purse :) I have already paid for my lunch at work (Christmas dinner) and my mummy has made me a dinner for tonight (pork and leek casserole for anyone interested) so i shouldn't have to spend any money today :)

I am considering potting the £30 is that allowed?

So I emptied my husbands pockets, what is it about men and money in pockets?!, and took some loose change out of my purse so off to a flying start of £2.95... Very pleased with myself :D

THIEF :D:D:D:D:D:D:D! That really made me chuckle. My DH is so tight with his wallet and pockets I need industrial tools to pry it out of him :D!

Only allowed if it is going into my pot :D:D! Of course it is allowed. Put it in quickly before you spend it!

Going to DD3's uni tomorrow. She wants to go abroad next year on the student exchange programme. It would do DH and me the world of good to have a little peace and quiet, although we will probably be tearing our hair out after 2 days!

Got a scan from DD1 today. Twins are doing well and growing nicely. Happy days :T.

No potting today, but will try and be better over the weekend.

Hi everyone, sorry I've not been here for a day or two, but not a good time for me, much better now though. :D

Glad to hear things are better now. :xmassmile

Potted 21p today. Was in the sweet shop (I know how'd I get in there!! :D) instead of a 'quarter' of something I just bought 3 pink shrimp sweeties and saved some pennies! ;)

Welcome to the thread Debt free yippee (it's very addictive) and congratulations on becoming debt free!! :j I'm sure you'll be amazed at how quickly all your pennies will add up! You can keep a note of how much you save or just keep popping the money in and get a surprise next November! ;) If you pop yourself over to page 1 of this thread (if you haven't already read it) it will tell you everything you need to know about how the Sealed Pot Challenge runs but if you're still not sure, just ask as we'll be happy to help. :)

I'm sure Sue (our cheerLEADER) will be along soon to give you a nice shiny number! :D
