:j Is it ok to start with half an ice cream tub of shrapnel we add to when we remember? I'd estimate there is around £15 in it and I've just added 76p, weeee! I'll count it properly when I get in later but I'm not going to keep a running total.Dry January: 31/31 days. :T0

That'll be perfectly ok, Bunny, no need to count it exactly, unless you want to. Morning all!
I've been slacking on the posting front, but rest assured I haven't been slacking on the potting front! Have been squirrelling away little bits of gold, silver and bronze in the hope of reaching my very ambitious target for SPC 6! I also need to pop over and update my signature as I'm pleased to report that I smashed my savings target for the precious house deposit fund this year! My initial aim was to put another £1000 into it, but when I achieved that in the first 6 months, I decided to do it again in the second! And I've gone over by £42! With my £50 standing order coming out after payday too, this means that I will have nearly 7,100 beautiful pounds tucked away - OK, I know it won't buy much yet, but I'm very proud of myself for getting this far! Still a glimmer of hope that I might move out of home by the time I'm 50!
How is everyone doing!? I am guessing that the fun but expensive wonder that is Christmas is sucking away precious pennies that would otherwise have been potted - but hopefully you're all finding lots of odd little bits of change which would annoy others but positively thrill those of us with sealed pots waiting to be fed back home!
Love to everyone, don't shop too hard!xxx

I collected all the stray pennies from the various tubs in my house last night & put them all in the pot: £6.91 - not a bad start!
Decided I'm aiming to clear my student overdraft, so using the SPC to contribute to that!0 -
