OK so im totally cac at standing my ground  Georgie is here and loving his new cage and all the fuss and attention he's getting. Miss Lily picked him, and Ihave to say she made a fantastic choice as he was by far the most beautiful bird in the cage, hes a gorgeous green with yellow head and orange face and I can see him being a very spoilt pet ;) He was quite nervous when he got let out the box into the cage, but then again he went from a roughly 40 cm tall cage with about 8 brothers and sisters to a 87 cm tall cage on his own  but has now explored it thoroughly, had a good sleep and is remarkably settled this morning.

DD came running up the stairs at 6:45 to inform us he wasnt in the cage  she hadnt thought to move the towel we had popped on the top and look on the roof where he was happily hanging upside down :rotfl:

No pennies yet for my pot, but as Georgie 'obviously' needs some toys to play with I must go to the £ shop and the pet shop to get him a few bits so will no doubt have change from that! now off to google how to train a love bird to put money in a sealed pot :rotfl:

£10.87 added to the pot last night. Money left over after i was paid.

I got my car back today. Damage is £170 which is less than i expected but also been told i need 2 front tyres 'cause yours are poor quality, not worn out, just cheap rubbish tyres' lol. That can wait until i have more pennies. And I'll need some more bits doing before the next MOT but that's not until next year.

Since it was cheaper than i thought, I'm going to treat myself to a 3G K!ndle Keyboard and give my non 3G one to my mummy :) I think I'll use the rest of my Christmas money too if i can find it lol. I'd like a new k!ndle but refuse to buy one until they bring back the page change buttons.

Jakes-Mum - I'm glad to hear you got a lovely new birdie :D He/She sounds like a right character!

25p added to my pot. Total that I know of is £11.11, would be slightly more as my partner often puts some change in there without telling me how much. Tomorrow another 20p will be added to the tin.
