I just popped on to give Jakes-Mum a big fat kiss!! :kisses3: After reading about your facebook selling, I put a few things on this afternoon and have sold two already, making me £29! DH immediately wanted to use the money for his bike....grrrrr ....but so far I am insisting that it goes towards the house moving fees! ;) I expect I will pay for his bike necessities soon enough though! :o

I have lots of toys/games that I didn't bother putting on ebay as it wasn't worth doing but I am definitely going to put them on facebook. Happy girl!! :p

Yayyy!! I do love my FB selling pages (as do the kids as both their spendy money has increased since they started flogging their old toys ;)) get them games and toys up as second hand seems to be very popular at the minute :D

Jakes-mum, we absolutely adore our three Staffies :A:A:Abut they do cost us a fortune in vets bills as they are prone to allergies. Plus they ruin the garden. :p They are excellent with children if they are brought up right. The horror stories you hear are down to the owners not treating the dogs right.

She was lovely and sooooo docile BUT my head is ruling my heart on this one and as I just won a bird cage on fleabay for 99p we are getting a love bird instead :o kids get a pet and it doesnt cost me a fortune to keep, plus when we go away I think my parents will be much more inclined to have a bird to stay than a dog :rotfl:.
I have a feeling im going to be dragged down the pet store tomorrow to buy said bird (DH sooo impatient, is already out picking up the cage as I type, auction only finished an hour ago ) might have to be stubborn and insist its after our weekend away as I dont think it will be good for the bird to be taken to ours and then 2 weeks later dumped in a different home with 2 strangers when it hasnt even had time to get used to us :T

No pennies for my pot today as all sales have been the kids :( might have to start charging them both commision :D

That Barbie sounds lovely but, Lindylou, (I might be a bit thick here...) what are smores??

Smores are what everybody should have on their barbie, trust me! A toasted and melty marshmallow (or two if you are my DH) sandwiched between two (preferably dark) chocolate digestive biscuits... so named as once you've had one, the refrain of "please may I have s'more" is inevitable :rotfl:

Hope your back is a bit better too, little_sweetie x

No potting to report, but just over £40 in my fleabay "holding" account which will be banked and put aside when it reaches the free transfer threshold once everybody has got round to paying me :D Had a mini-wardrobe clearout for DD as it was just about bursting and listed another ten things last night, so hopefully more to come.

Otherwise, happy to be having some virtuous NSDs as my bank account is a bit battered and bruised at the moment!

Stay well everyone, and make sure you get your Vitamin D while you can (do you think we'll get Vit D in Skeggy in January, sparky?!) :rotfl:

    Hey everyone,
Found £12 in £2 coins in my kitchen drawer - how long have they been there undetected...?? Swallowed by the pot now though..! (shows how often I clean the kitchen drawers out.....) :o

Also grand total of 3p road kill (found in school playground while dropping DD off to gym class).

Pot is getting very heavy now... need to start a new one soon I think.

Sneaks in and hangs head in shame........:(
Sorry been ages since I have been on here and potted.
Had a run of kids birthdays so had no spare cash. And had to pay a fortune for DD1 trip to Berlin and DD2 2 day residential to York.:eek::eek::eek:
Potted £5 in pound coins to try and compensate for a very hungry pot. I have thrown in the odd bit of change that has been lying about too.
Hope everyone is well and potting better than I am.
Love to all as I scuttle off with head hanging a little higher after feeding the pot. x

    2 x £2 coins potted.

Nephew kindly hoovered and washed my car today......so I treated him to a fiver (which was well worth it as he did a lovely job). He was really pleased as he has been saving up for a £15 Itunes vouchers and the fiver meant he can now afford it! Discussed the possibility of saving some money and spending some money but i am afraid it has fallen on deaf ears :)

Its probably a little late to tell you but m0rris0ns often sell the £25 cards for £20 plus you would also get 2p off fuel.

It's a shame you don't live closer. I know the perfect prettiest blue love bird you could have had. He was given up for adoption but is so tame and absolutely adores people. She may be coming to live with me until someone better comes along :)

£10.11 potted for me in the last week ish. Cars gone into the garage today :( and its raining :( Fortunately i bought lunch with me so i don't have to go walking in the rain :D
