5p roadkill and 10p husband kill in the pot this morning

Ooooh I really shouldnt take the kids out to the animal rescue centre, I do know better! I totally fell in love with a staffie there today
so affectionate and just wanted to be fussed which has now set everyone off talking about getting a dog (which I would love) and DH wants a puppy to grow with the kids, and I want something that will stay small etc etc and then you have a look and realise its going to cost you in excess of £300 for the dog, then insurance, microchipping, jabs and the list goes on . . .

Evening potters new and old (or should that be established, not trying to be ageist here... :rotfl:)
Bits and pieces of shopping this weekend plus a £2 coin wangled off DD (exchanged, of course!) means that I potted a grand total of £6.48 this weekend, woohoo; best bit of potting in ages (sure I heard the tin do a big satisfied burp lol
)
Hope you are all enjoying the lovely sunny bank holiday weekend. We had a yummy barbie this evening, complete with smores... seriously sinful but so worth it!!
Off to bed now as unfortunately I have drawn the short straw and have to work tomorrow and it's an early start, boo
Oh, and jakes-mum, it would be cheaper to borrow a dog and walk it... lovely idea, but withstand any pester power on this one else you will never have any money :eek: I have stood firm thus far, and don't intend to be swayed on this one
Catch up with everybody later
