What I am doing however, is allowing myself £30 worth of cash per week - and once that's used up then that's it.
I'm putting the following into different pots:

    5p whisky bottle - £1.55
    £2 coin piggy - £10.00
    Sealed pot - £9.98

    So putting £21.53 away!

Next update in 4 weeks time :)

In other good news, I also became debt free during the month of April too, so I'm really over the moon with that!

That is good news, well done you :T :T :T

I like your idea of getting cash out for the week and not going over that, I might try it, if you don't mind me asking what sort of things do you use it for? I.e is it 'fritter money' or do you have to get groceries etc out of it?

Thanks for shiny new member number, Sue-UU.

I've not found any roadkill over the last couple of days, so am going to venture into other areas of adding to my sealed boot, inspired by some of the ideas mentioned on this thread!
