Potted £10.33 today, mixture of purse emptying before payday and dinner money as no school Monday ( a tip I picked up from lurking on here sorry can't remember which member it was ). There is 45p of OH's change on the microwave I have my eye on.

Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away. ;)

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.

A superb welcome, starnac, a shiny gold thread for you! Though madhouse????? Yeah...you're right.

dollydog - would you kindly pop your SPC No on your siggy for us please, many thanks indeed.

Good to see you, scuba, and thanks for popping you cash banked on your siggy.
It's nothing exciting. Its just a sandwich from a shop called Birds. They make very very nice cream cakes too but I'm good and just have the sandwiches. Think Greggs (do you have greggs) but 1000 times better :)

Aha, that makes sense, Ruth, sounds uber deeeelicious! I'll bear Greggs in mind though as that's where my DGD's boyfriend works! ;) Don't know about you, but I don't buy that yarn about H!lfords shouldn't really transfer goods from one shop to another, he just wants you to know he's going the extra mile for you, you could be onto a winner there!! Fingers crossed that they can get one....and you get him!!! Have a lovely meal.

So, there you are, little_sweetie, and there was I all sad as I thought you'd gone and left us. :( You wouldn't believe the tears I've shed - no, neither would I. Seriously though, so sorry to hear about your sciatica and tingly leg, you poor thing, that must have been so very painful. Though do you mean the tingly leg was due to the sciatica or 'restless leg' which, to me, comes across as a sort of itchiness, well..in a weird way. All the best for the allotment as it would save you £s. How about a bring & buy sale, jumble sales etc, some could even include your cards sales! ;)

Great news about enlisting hubby's help, busybumblebee, most of us do whether they know it or not!! ;)

Whhoohay, Rosy, a terrific amount saved!!! :grinheart

Well done, lovefullshelves, you're on your way now!

Great news about you having overcome another hurdle, jakes-mum!! :D

Sue tried to PM you the other day (my email won't let me in at the MO, doesn't recognise my log on or password!), spent ages typing, pressed the wrong button, lost the PM, then lost the will to live & nearly lashed the computer. Hope you T and the family are all OK XX

Well if the police go to next door any more I think they'll get an invite to Christmas dinner, they must spend more time there than in the police station!!!!!!

Hiya sparky! I hope you can soon sort your e-mail out or you'll miss out on any filthy jokes! Doesn't it make you mad when you write any sort do messafe and the PC swallows it up for the sake of 1 bloomin button!

Re the family from hell: Sounds awful to say, but lets hope it's not too long before they overstep the mark that much more and the police HAVE to shift them - for everyone's peace of mind. It's wrong when an entire neighbourhood lives in fear for the sake of one nasty lot. All best wishes to you and to J. We're both ok thanks.

So sorry to hear about the SPD, Chelle, but good to hear it doesn't hold you back from being lucky with a bargain!! :T Terrific news!!!!

It didn't take long for you to find out just how addictive saving is, lovefullshelves, beware..it can only get worse!! :j

Even though coinage was dropped into the pot I missed my sneaky fumble ..... I shall have to catch him unawares next time....

You're obviously shattering the poor fellar, ToniLiz! :rotfl: Unawares it has to be then!!

Excellent news about the friend, Nell, all the best with the proceeds for you both.

Not to worry, indigowarrior, try your best and just be patient.

Wishing you well with the house-hunting, mossy. :j

    Hello again,

Sorry I've not been round for a long time - since I have now gone from weekly pay to monthly pay, I'm kind of changing the way I pot. Used to pot what ever was left in coins at the end of the week, but that's not as easy now.

What I am doing however, is allowing myself £30 worth of cash per week - and once that's used up then that's it. And whatever is left, I am currently putting in a cash bag.

As the cashbag is brimming over and I've recently been paid, I thought I'd get back on here with an update.

I'm putting the following into different pots:

    5p whisky bottle - £1.55
    £2 coin piggy - £10.00
    Sealed pot - £9.98

    So putting £21.53 away!

Next update in 4 weeks time :)

In other good news, I also became debt free during the month of April too, so I'm really over the moon with that!
