"Sealed Pot Challenge ~ No 6"

Hi, hope all have had a good weekend and stayed safe and warm.
I got paid my overtime today, plus I accrued some change throughout the day, and then I emptied out all the change hanging around in my bag, from the last week. The grand total £42.78!! So the dilemma then occurred. Now normally, before joining this thread I would have thought that it was far too much to put in the pot and that it was better off in my purse and then it would no doubt be frittered away, on who knows what!!
So......in the sealed pot it has all gone. I hasten to add that it is unlikely that such a huge sum will go in it all at one time ever again, but I feel good that I made the right decision today about the £42.78.SPC No:118:j (6) £468.74 (7)

Found 20p this morning, adding that to the £1.20 in my wallet means I've added to my sealed pot for the first time
(I also have pennies to count up and add to my total tomorrow as I'm away from home at the moment).
£1.40 / £250

£9.73 gone into various pots today.
Not sure how often I'll be potting now - start a new permanent job on Monday, so I am going from weekly pay to monthly pay. Hopefully will be able to pot a little bit between now and then.Sealed Pot Challenge No 3060 -

Hello to all you lovely new people
*HUGS* to all that need/want them
I hope you are all very well and happy
Emily, Well done on your secret savingslast time i checked it was at £1 so very well done..... still curious haha
There is a strange yellow ball in the sky.... i seem to recall seeing it somewhere before but can't quite put my finger on it XD
well, i got paid... after tax, national insurance, employers national insurance and 'employers margin', i ended up with only about 60% of my moneyStill it was an extra £100 in the savings and £50 towards the loan. I have also potted a little in the pot
And it paid for me to go to my friends 50th which was a good night so i can't really complain
I have some change in my purse waiting to be potted but i just haven't got around to it yet. Off out to get lunch today so may have more then, me and mummy are both poorly so i have none of her yummy cooking. I am just craving bread, mostly ham sandwichesSealed Pot Challenge member #071 VSP #4

Aye that he is LC2
I believe the same of DH, what would they do without us? I always tell him he may be happier without me but he'd die of starvation long before he got to enjoy it ::rotfl: I on the other hand would be a darned sight richer on me own :rotfl::rotfl:
Mine would die of food poisoning !! He never throws any food away and will open a tin and try and hide it at the back of the fridge :rotfl::rotfl: On occasions I have left it to see what he does then about four days later he will go to use it then wonders why I shout. He also seems to think that when you open a packet of ham for example the use by date is still the date you go by and gets really upset when I throw it away. I've left instructions with the kids if anything happens to me they have to check the fridge every other day. There again he might burn himself alive cos he often leaves the pans on :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:or there again he might get so obese he wont be able to move cos there wouldn't be anyone to ask him if he really needed biscuits after that big dinner !!! Yes!! I am a blessing to him:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
