yayyyyyyyyyy LC2 is back :j :j its always so quiet on here without you :D Hugs for your losses though my lovely :( seems to be the year of bad news :(

Thank you my lovely sparky, im coughing my guts up (as DH so eloquently put it) but the bad tummy has bogged off again for the next few days which is always a good thing :)

Ty also Rosyq, IBS is the diagnosis they gave me 10 years ago and did nothing about :rotfl: never had a tablet, diet info or anything just basically got told to get on with it, good to see that 10 years on nowt has changed :rotfl: was really hoping for another option, but not to be ;)

26p in the pot today, last bit of change out of my purse

One more day left of my working week, and I can't flipping wait for a couple of days off. I am so exhausted and stressed now! :(
My Auntie's funeral went well the other day but was very emotional, as expected. Still feeling a strange sort of sadness, I still feel a bit in shock really :(

Money is very tight at the moment, but I stole a 5p for my pot from my OH's bedside table the other day :) He doesn't use them, so the pot can have it...and he hasn't noticed :D

I also have IBS, I was diagnosed September 2011. They gave me fibrogel (ugh, awful stuff!) and peppermint oil capsules...neither of which I felt really helped me all that much. I also had a phobia of using public loos for :o and although I have IBS I did have a routine, which those messed up. Now I just kind of suffer with permanently looking about 5 months pregnant due to bloating, having to choose tops/dresses that are flowy over the tummy area despite only being a size 6, and I try to avoid foods that I know cause me particular upset. Luckily chocolate doesn't seem to be one of them :D
I read an interesting article a while back that said a lot of people are wrongly diagnosed with IBS and it is often food intolerances and I wish more doctors would look into that. Now, I did start making a food diary but it was impractical because I didn't want to fill it out at work because I would be embarrassed to write everything down and list my symptoms/movement patterns :o....and also, I'm absolutely terrible at remembering to keep a diary :rotfl:

I'm so sorry I've been AWOL for a few weeks, but I have been potting a few £s a week.

I had good news this week, I've been given a weekly £5 payrise. I've decided to build up £40 in my holding tin for emergencies (this would cover DS1 college money and DS2 dinner money for 1 week). Once I've got that emergency money I will put the £5 straight into my tin, so that will definitely help with things.

Hugs to everyone who is poorly, welcome to any newbies, and Happy Birthday to anyone I missed.

Have a lovely weekend all! :D

Don't take this as medical advice but I thought I'd share it as I had a similar situation. It was suspected as IBS although I don't recall taking any medication for it just told to add extra fibre to my diet!

In the end I did an elimination diet and then slowly introduced food types back in to my diet and was able to see what I was reacting so badly to. It turned out to be yeast and MSG. Which as you can imagine is in a lot of things. I stopped eating food with those things in for a few years (I don't think you necessarily have to do it for that long but at the time I thought I had developed a full blown allergy rather than an intolerance). However, it gave my body time to rest from those foods and so I was able to reintroduce them into my diet fairly successfully. If I go mad on eating something then my body will tend to 'dump it' fairly quickly :o but if I'm sensible then I can eat whatever I like. ;) It might be worth looking into an elimination diet, there's lot of information about it online.

    Hi Sweetie

Hope the fridge /freezer thing works out for you. It's raining here so your things would be a bit damp outside :rotfl::rotfl:
