Please don't ever get tempted to smoke any sort of fag, Ruth, - you'll always regret it very quickly!!! When Susanne spoke about e-cigs she wasn't meaning the ones where you put nicotine in, she means fake fags! Never ever get into the others for Heaven's sake as they are simply alternative way of smoking and keep people hooked!

What do you mean by fake ones? These were the plastic things with the batteries and the thing is the middle soaked is juicy stuff that when you smoked it it produced a vapour...... There was no tobacco and you didn't light it. But the wet juicy thing you put in it smelt to me like popcorn. i didn't try it cause my mum said it didn't taste of popcorn anyway. My dad tried it and i shouted at him cause he quit smoking like more than 20 years ago....

Evening all, hope everyones feeling better?

Hmm so some are revisiting the dreaded weed, Oh dear, I hope you manage to persuade them not to! it aint easy! Not sure if this will help but my mate was a 20 a day girl (with considerable debts) and on holiday last year she asked me why I didnt smoke and the response was "Why should I pay a company to put poisons and toxins in my body?" with that she looked at her fag, chucked it down and hasnt smoked again. I dont think it was easy for her but she says she feels sick now thinking about what it was doing to her body.

Anyhow, 4 x £2 for the owls head this week, my usual £1 per day and about £5.37 (and a bit more!) scrapnel for the VW camper van. Not much money as I have had a number of NSD.

Am looking forward to the warmer weather coming soon.... I hope.:D

Congratulations on the weight loss! :D

Well...I have some change in my purse but it's got to buy lunch tomorrow and the bus home if I'm too tired to walk, but then PAYDAY on Thursday and then I won't be absolutely skint anymore! :D Shame there's already loads of designated things for the wages to go on :(
If I walk home again tomorrow I'll reward my pot with some nice shiny coins :rotfl:

Today, I am sparing one coin from my purse that I'm sure I definitely won't need tomorrow...1p going in the pot today :rotfl:Still, as I said before, better than nowt ;)

Hi all and thank you so much for your lovely messages on the birth of Thomas last week. Sounds like you are all doing well, I haven't left the house in nearly a week so still not potted anything but had a lot of NSD's so it's not all bad.
