Not posted for a bit but still potting most days.
I have got a new system for how I sort my pennies. All £1 and 50p coins go in terramundi pot. All 20p coins go in a seperate pot towards my 20p savers challenge and everything else goes in a coffee tin. My coffee tin is almost full so I will seal it up completely and put it at the back of the cupboard until november and start a new one.
I don't think the coffee tin will contain that much money in value but the other two pots hold at least £50 between them.🎄PAYDBXMAS21 #11 £11,300/£11300

Brilliant, Rosy, very well done indeed, just not sure what you mean about 'hanging' it??
Hi Sue sorry that was a bit cryptic wasn't it! It's taken me so long to make the quilt and I don't want to put it on the bed for the cats to [STRIKE]ruin[/STRIKE] sleep on so I thought I'd hang it on the wall but of course cos it's round it'll flop at the top unless I cunningly stiffen it. I'm not sure that explanation is any clearer than my original comment :rotfl: :rotfl:
Bought a £2 coin from OH today it's in my holding pot and if its still there on payday I'll pot it
jakes-mum hope Miss Lily gets better soon she must be so tired of being illAnd the rest of the family too, get well soon
Keep potting potters :j

You're staying resolute, getting-there-slowly, so much to be said for that. Keep it up and look what you'll have to look forward to!!!! :jLindylou68 wrote: »Have decided to run SPC alongside WW - for every pound lost, one goes in the pot. For every pound gained, two go in the pot, just to keep me on the straight and (hopefully eventually) narrow! Will let you know how successful that little idea is in due course... :rotfl:
All best wishes on both quests, Lindylou, sounds like a wonderful idea to entice you to gain ££s and lose Lbs!I hope the kiddies do well and learn to save for their futures from Mum.
All the best to you with SW, Barbeduk.
Ah, thanks for that, Rosy, I did wonder if it was for a wall, but wanted to be sure in case there was a different 'hanging' term for them. Surely you'll have to stiffen it somehow. Hubby's just suggested fixing some wire at the back and possibly tacking it all to the wall. If he or I can think of any other way, we'll certainly yell, but how about putting the question to the knitting/crochet thread, they'd have ideas. All best wishes with it though as these things take a long time to make and you want to be able to enjoy it.
It's going to be bally cold again for the next few days at least, folks, do keep warm!

Evening all.
Happy birthday to those I have missed.
Welcome to all the newbies, you won't find a more friendly thread and it is very addictive.
Get well to all those who are poorly, especially Miss Lily xxx
Potted a whooping £50 tonight. This was money that my dad owed me for getting my mum's Christmas and birthday present. He can't get out without mum so it is difficult to shop for her in toe. I had already paid for the presents and have just been paid so thought it would be safer in my pot than frittered away in my purse. Hope that is ok Sue.
Snow seems to be thawing here but hope we don;t get anymore overnight.
