Sue - I hoovered under my bed today and potted another £1.09. What happens when the house is clean from top to toe (although this may take some time!)?

Start over again, Hollygym, bet someone will have dropped some or left some lying around....for you! It's one way of helping us want to clean the house! ;) Well done on all you found.
Potted a whooping £50 tonight. This was money that my dad owed me for getting my mum's Christmas and birthday present. He can't get out without mum so it is difficult to shop for her in toe. I had already paid for the presents and have just been paid so thought it would be safer in my pot than frittered away in my purse. Hope that is ok Sue.

Certainly it's ok, mumof3plusoh, I can well appreciate the problem with your parents, good to have you help them out. A lovely sum to pot!! :grinheart

Brilliant, cazscash, you are WELL on your way! :D

Thanks so much for the memory jog re Helen, Kerry! :o

You're staying at it, Emily, great work.

You and I are both in the same good place, LC 2, all the housework done and feeling good!! :j Your poor hubby, a big kid at heart.

well I have been very naughty I forgot about a direct debit which was due so had to take £20 out of the pot:mad:

Surely, sexyshark, you'd have been best off just letting it be taken out of the bank in DD fashion and kept you cash in the pot. Still, up to you, but...!

£1 roadkill potted after hubby found it just inside T*sco garage shop this morning when taking DGS to college. Have put it in our 'Angel droppings' pot!!!! :j

Well done our men, eh Rosy! :T

    Hi all,

Happy Birthday DreamerHelen. I hope you have a fantastic day.

On the downside, I have a sore butt! Slipped on my way to work this morning ....

On the upside, I managed to pot £1 so all is forgiven.

    Have a great day everyone,

Hi Sue sorry that was a bit cryptic wasn't it! It's taken me so long to make the quilt and I don't want to put it on the bed for the cats to [STRIKE]ruin[/STRIKE] sleep on so I thought I'd hang it on the wall but of course cos it's round it'll flop at the top unless I cunningly stiffen it. I'm not sure that explanation is any clearer than my original comment :rotfl: :rotfl:

Bought a £2 coin from OH today it's in my holding pot and if its still there on payday I'll pot it :)

jakes-mum hope Miss Lily gets better soon she must be so tired of being ill :( And the rest of the family too, get well soon :)

    Keep potting potters :j

    Rx

Just an idea, how about cutting a hula hoop in half and sewing the top of the quilt to it and use the hoop to hang it?

Happy birthday DreamerHelen, hope you have a lovely day.

One lovely £2 coin in the pot today, out of the change from sending a letter recorded. £5.90.:eek:

Hugs to all, keep safe and warm. Get well all our poorly peeps.

I hope everyone is going well in their saving....
I am losing weight at the minute and make some pea and mint soup....it looks urgh :rotfl: BUT it's soooo filling :T AND people make it in bulk and store it.....money-saving at it's best :T .
Think of all the pennies you can save instead of buying food from the canteen.

Just a little idea I thought my fellow SPC6 savers could benefit from. All you need is some ingredients from your kitchen cupboards!!! :j
Give it a go...if you need the recipe, please mail me.

Lots of support from me to all of you!

    Hellooooooooooooo Potters

aww ty for all Miss Lilys well wishes (again) her school was probably the only school in the area that was still open (they dont shut for nowt ) but with her belly she didnt get to go in anyway, cant say I was upset at missing the slippy slidey walk to the classroom or the cold wait outside at the end of the day :o DS's school was shut so he was thrilled ;) Not that he had bothered to put his uniform on this morning ;)

Was sat in me chair earlier and heard a sound out the back, said to DH 'whos just opned the gate' as hes got a direct view up the garden and he says 'no-one' so we are peering out the patio doors and suddenly a heap of snow fell off the roof! Is it really terrible that the first thing I said to DH was 'oh if only DS had been stood underneath! we could have made ourselves £250 on you've been framed' :rotfl:

A nice handful of change in the pot from the post office run . . seems to be alot lighter than I thought it would be, for some reason going to the post office for me constitutes me buying DS and DH a huge bar of chocolate each

Hi all, still no snow here thank goodness. Daughter has just given me £2 towards her brother's birthday present, so it went straight in the pot! Isn't it nice when they start getting a bit of weight to them!
