Hi everyone from a snowy Brum.
Added a few more pennies to the pot today - my purse seems so much lighter now - I'm sure I heard it sigh with relief...!!
Off to tackle teenagers' bedrooms to see what spare pennies I can find. Quite addictive this "treasure hunt" !

Doing quite well on my new yrs resolution for potting £2 a day - dont think I have missed one yet. I dont weigh my pot like some but I do give it a rattle every so often and its starting to sound nicely expensive!;)

Well hello everyone and hope you have all had a good weekend. Especially hope that the poorly SPCers are feeling a bit better!
Not much potting action here as way too cold to go and do much at all... having said that, the two shop trips I made netted 6-worth of 2 pound coins for that jar, so not so bad I guess. Just 90p for the SPC, but every little counts.
Have decided to run SPC alongside WW - for every pound lost, one goes in the pot. For every pound gained, two go in the pot, just to keep me on the straight and (hopefully eventually) narrow! Will let you know how successful that little idea is in due course... :rotfl:
DD, has just sealed up the pot and contributed 10p (bless). DS is already having to put a percentage of pocket money in his scout jamboree savings pot, so not keen on another one! However, they will no doubt be happy to reap the rewards, so I'll remind them now and again that the pot is hungry...

Was given a lovely £2 in my car parking change today so it's nestled in the pot with all its little mates!
