Ryanair and Micheal O'Leary, were the single most important happening in my life........yes its true.
When they launched their flights to Paris in 1996, it opened up a whole new chapter in our lives that has led to us a point in time that we are now happily comtemplating our futures courtesy of Ryanair!
Long live Ryanair......respect to Michael O'Leary!0 -
went from east mids to inverness and back on time very rapidly for £14-99 all in. Can't fault them - in fact excellent.
Unfortunately booked for Stanstead to France and back next april, sorted out all the time off work, cat sitters, car hire etc and they changed my return light from mid morning to late at night.Beep Beep0 -
We have flown with Ryanair on quite a few occasions and I can only reiterate the positive comments of others. We have never taken off late, and usually arrive early. If you know their rules you can get some superb bargains.
Last year we had 2 return flights from Birmingham to Dublin for 4p. And that included everything. I used an electron card to pay, we took only cabin baggage, and so the card was debited exactly 4p!
We have just booked 2 return flights from Liverpool to Murcia for a total of £57. I think that's a bargain however you look at it. We will again use cabin baggage only, check in online, and not bother with their catering.
My only criticism of Ryanair is that they seem to have ceased flying to Santiago de Compostela, which is a brilliant weekend destination. Hope it is reinstated soon.0 -
It IS basic in the extreme, but I've flown with them a lot recently and you can't fault them for punctuality and price. Also, the new 737-800 is a terrific a/craft. Food and drink onboard continue to be a rip-off, as are charges for checking in luggage at the airport (why can't you add hold baggage via their website???).0

Come on no one's mentions that teriffic fanfare that they put over the PA when the flight arrives on time! Now that's class and guaranteed to sort your hangover out on the early morning Dublin flight!:rotfl: :rotfl::beer:0
