Stood in the queue from 615am at Cwmbran and there were a husband and wife who had been there all night I was 3rd in the queue lots of people starting to arrive after 730 but well the store only had 30 and a lot of the people in the queue were related to staff members its a brilliant bag love it thanks op0

I got one i was 8th in the queue, got there at 6am, but found it all very disorganised as having a ticket, did not garentee you a bag. Also found it unfair that some stores were seliing them at 7am when the stores opened, yet we had to wait till dead on 8 to buy. Its not as big as i thought it would be, Did anyone's bag come with the book, would have liked the book.?0

oh well apparently according to another website there will be plenty available later in the year so I shall await until then, or hopefully ebay will be flooded and I shall get a bargain (well I live in hope)
They are making more but only for Japan and the US, and these are going to be in blue and green.
People at fosse park (leics) were apparently queuing at 11pm yest!! I thought I would have missed out going at 5.30am to Belgrave but was first there (YAY!)!!:D:rudolf: I love xmas!0 -
Yippee I got one!!!
Got to M'bro at 6.30ish and was 10th in the queue, unlike other reports here it was good fun everyone was chatting and the staff were great they gave us our tickets and kept coming out to update us on what was going to happen to 8am.
Anyway as you can imagine I'm a happy bunny today!0 -
OMG.. Latest one is £255 on ebay. I love it but would never pay that much0

I agree with you vickypink, I was waiting from 6.30am there was already 7 people in the queue, the last ticket of 26 went at 7.45am, a member of staff was stood with us from 7.30am handing the tickets to everyone that joined the queue. When the Manager came in at 7.00am he sent staff out to take tea and coffee orders for us!
It was quite a laugh really but did duck when the cameras came out!
Well done Sainsburys Southport!0 -
I had a fun time as well. We were all laughing/chatting, have to admit to feeling slightly smug when people were turned away0

I'm afraid I'm embarrassed to admit I was one of the muppets queuing in Cambridge, only to find when everyone had been let in, that it was those who had turned up at 5am who had received tickets and coffee, and that I had pointlessly queued since 7am. I think they should have told us that if we didn't have a ticket at that point, there was no point in queuing, but we weren't to know.
It was quite a shambles and there were quite a few angry customers wanting to lynch the security guard. I figured you win some, you lose some. And, to be honest, and it's not sour grapes, the bags were surprisingly tiny, and I don't think it would be moneysaving to spend 5 pounds on them, especially since the eBay prices are going to plummet!
