Morning all - everyone is doing so well and we are only 4 days in :)

I have managed to put across £30.49 which is this weeks left over amount, I will update the spreadsheet once my statement arrives. (to reduce the risk of me frittering away my savings I have not registered for internet banking, so I don't actually know the amount until the statement arrives).

Well scrap man has just been to collect my car, so that's another £150 to add to my pot and hopefully ~£100 due back for insurance refund.

Car lost 5th gear when driving back from a 120 mile trip to attend a job interview. Luckily I nursed it home and got the job, so my new company car is being delivered next week!

It made more sense to scrap it and cash everything in than spend money repairing it in order to sell. It was a little bit sad though, the thing only cost me £400 and has seen me through 3 tough years as a mature student after being made redundant. I will put the money into my account with a smile :)

I forgot to say, I'd like to try for £10,000 again...

I thought this was going to become £13,000 for 2013! Anyone doing that? Imagine how much you'd save by 2040... :P

£12,000 is going to be a push for me!

Think the titles relate to the number of months in a year rather than the year. Makes it a nice round £1,000 per month then :T
