    Hi all,

Managed another NSD today as my partner came home for lunch and took enough snacks from home to avoid the vending machines! Got spending to do over next 3 days as I need to food shop tomorrow, have vet appointment on Friday and trip to get some toy storage on Saturday (daughter got too many toys for Xmas! :)), but hoping to keep Sunday as a NSD too!

Added £5 for my banked 20p's and we usually get two graze boxes sent per week but I cancelled it this week and will probably do this every now and then to save a bit of money but we do like them so don't want to cancel them completely! Going to transfer all the saved money to my savings account!

Still need to sort through our accounts and hopefully pull together some money from last year to get the savings going with a decent amount! Will report back when I've got this sorted! :)

    Hello everyone,

Just a quick post to say Happy New Year and all the best with your savings plans. Nothing to do with saving, but.... for the first time ever I paid off all of my credit card in a one'er after Christmas! This year I will not still be paying for Christmas in April!! Feels good and means I can start saving straight away.:j

Can anyone tell me, do we just fill out the update form once a month or every time we save something?

Don't want to give slowlyfading more mark than necessary!

Very tight for this month but after reading all this I managed to find £65 to put it in there... May be able to put some more in but not going to be a big month this month. Will have to earn the extra this month.

If you just fill in the form on the last day of the month please, but feel free to update the thread whenever you put more into your savings! :D

ooh, just seen the form (sorry! half asleep today!) but will definitely fill that in once I have my number :)

I must say it's great reading through everyone's determined comments, it's making me more determined!

I'm earning a few bob more than I did a year ago so that will help, plus my new job isn't within walking distance of a "convenience store" which always used to manage to "steal" my savings from me every lunch time!

I really want to hit that £12k target this year! :)
