I've transferred £10.42 to our savings account - the real saving won't start until DH increases his contribution to me on 1st March but I thought I'd show willing with a small amount to get the ball rolling.

Well I have started by transferring 400 into my ISA - leftover money that was put aside for Christmas. Have 150 SOs set up starting at the end of this month, and am transferring somewhere around £63 into my kitchen account (tends to be leftover bits and pieces) so a decent start for me but there won't be much more saving in January as have very little money left that isn't earmarked for something!

  • Made a start today, I do get confused about which day it is though when money gets paid early for no reason, it'll be good to get back to work so I know where I'm at

  • I hope to save £18000 by the 1 Sept. I am away overseas and getting an additional £32 per day so I aim to save over 2000 a month on top of the £5700 already saved.
  • I've made a start: £250 went into one of my Regular Savings accounts yesterday :)
