It is a lot...but it can be done!
Ive lowered my take home pay to £16k due to pension contributions but there're different ways to make up the money. I get £4200 by renting out my spare room and little extras through mystery shopping and take advantage of freebies and selling old stuff I no longer use.
It's like a 2nd full time job, money saving!
Ok I can make a little money from stuff I no longer use.Save in 2013: #166: 9,122.51/[STRIKE]5,000[/STRIKE] 10,000Interest earned in 2014: £257.61 20/04/140 -
I'm off and away, an hours work today got me £70 in my hand. So £19,930 left to go! Feeling very confident, nothing will stop me this year, hard work is going to see me through with an eye on the end goal all the way.:eek:Living frugally at 24

Opened a regular saver with West Brom paying 4.1% gross fixed for 12 months. Slightly cheated as opened on 31st Dec so it will mature on 31st Dec 2013. £250 paid in so off and running. Will be trying to get January's £250 in ASAP to maximise interest.
Start a new job on 14th Jan and got some new clothes to buy so trying to look through the sales to get best quality for my money so they will last.
Next job is to open an ISA as haven't used this years allowance yet, will try to get as much in as possible before 5th AprilAlso need to have a sort of items that could go on Ebay!
