Right, I've updated the spreadsheet with lots of numbers :D and I've removed all the rows where the member has never added any updates, and has stayed at 0% since January.

Keep it going everyone :j :j we're doing just great :D and well done to those who have met their targets :j :j

Thanks SF for updating the sheet...woo hoo I'm nearly there.

Today was mad; I put two of our dachshunds' coats on a dachy facebook page to sell. There was a fight for them and I had to pull names from a hat lol! So looks like I've made £50 in four hours.

I have also recommended OH for a First Direct account, which means I should get £50 and she gets £100 when she is up and running. Hopefully that won't take too long to come through.

Don't know whether to go for the full £12000 next year or be really sensible and aim for £5000 again.

Oh and the cheese had raised it's head again after 6 months!

I am also up for this in 2014 particularly as I like the way slowlyfading is tracking and sharing the info - very user friendly. So will be keeping an eye open for the new thread.

  • Morning all,

Well done everyone. What fantastic results. I can say with hand on my heart that I would not have saved this much (or overpaid the mortgage) had it not been for this forum. A warm thank you to all who have kept me on track. I will definitely join again next year.

All the best for saving in the last month of the year, probably one of the most difficult to save in !

    (copied from the other thread)

    November update from me:

I managed to save £753 last month - less than I'd hoped, BUT I booked a holiday for next year, which cost me over £600. So I don't mind too much.

My new total is £73,097. I realise that I'm not going to reach £75,000 by 31 December, but I'm ok with that. It's good to have a goal and try your best to reach it! :D

Off to update my sig. :)
