Don't be too hard on yourself. I could probably have a similar rant about my family here too and I am the oldest of two. I think it is just family - they always know how to push our buttons.

    NOW ONWARDS

Huge well done citizenkitten - must be a fantastic feeling. I paid all my CCs last year and now just paying a loan on a low interest rate. Almost feels like debt-free after all those years of robbing Peter to pay Paul though :T

Transferred £106 to my ISA today - from my save the change type money, fleabay sales and the few pence in interest that I get on my current accounts. Every little helps - and much more than I've ever saved before:rotfl:

I may have a little more to transfer at the end of the month so I'll update the spreadsheet then.

Thanks for keeping us going SF :)

My finances are in a mess atm :( Really need to get my bum in gear.

On a positive note, once I get my degree and qualify as a solicitor (potentially 8+ years due to this morning sickness plus time out next year) I should be on a salary of around 50k. Not long then haha.

dont worry i could say the exact same thing about every single member of the family, cant give you any advice as you know your family best and what you can and cant cope with.

personally after trying to fight all the time, i just ended up choosing lest worst options or anything for the quiet life. i realised getting stressed about something i couldnt control or change was probably shortening my life or at least making it worse currently. so i do my best to just see it as a job, something i have to do.

yep only got my car to pay now, which i think most people have something like that to pay. I am trying to finally sell something on ebay but all the postage stuff scares me in that i dont think i will make any money.
