  • Morning LL,

I think starting the buy things early for the baby is fine. Then at least you don't have a massive spend to do over a couple of months when you are heavily pregnant and tired.

Wish I still had some of my things as I would have posted them to you, but they are long gone :(.

How are you feeling today. Hope you have gotten the hang of snacking often to keep your blood sugar levels up.

I missed your post on people making comments - People can be so rude, you wait until you have a big bump in front of you, and the weird way everyone seems to think they are entitled to make odd comments and feel your bump . It used to drive me mad.

The strangest one I had, was a man behind me in the queue in the post office when I was heavily pregnant. Asked me if I was having a boy or a girl, I told him "A Girl" and he said he always found pregnant women to be very attractive.. Eugh Dirty old man :p.

Anyway on that odd note, I will leave you to have a nice day xx

  • Morning all,

so day before official pay day...and still have £11 in my bank. Thats after £15 petrol last night, and £5.99 on a Moses basket for baby (who is called twinklet) which i won on e*ay last night & i am collecting tonight.
so going to put that on to my credit cards :) (tomorrow when i know i have got through to day with out some crazy need to spend)

havent really got a lot else to report on today. having anice weekend over at my mums this weekend. was meant to be going south to see hubs family but don't want to waste £70 on petrol when we're never made to feel welcome. So i'm going to to go into town with my mum & hubs is doing some jobs for mum round the house and then she'll make us a nice dinner :) mmmm :)

Then on Sunday picking up some drawers for twinklets room which someone at work is giving us for free :)

Great bargain on the moses basket for Twinklet :T:T. Well done.

Well done on saving the £70 on petrol. Thats alot of money.
I find myself doing similar stuff. I have a cheque to bank, but have held off as I will have another cheque on Friday and I will bank both together to save on fuel:).

    Have a great day xx

petrol is so expensive. i wish i could get the bus to work or magically walk! but its 12 miles and would be 2 busses which would work out the same in buss fare but take twice as long.

  • nother little e*bay bargain for twinklet. a Mamas & Papas vibrating bouncer for £5.51. as i'm not going out this weekend (only for a coffee with mum) its coming out of my lunch fund that i had put aside for meeting friends down south so not breaking a budget.

worked out, with everything we've bought for twinklet, if we'd paid full price or bought brand new we'd of spent about £500. so far we have spent £177. this is pleasing :)

transferred my wages back into my account. and reduced my overdraft yb £50 again so its now £200 rather than £300 when i started my diary and i havent been into it once since :)

i have booked a skip for a couple of weeks time. i need to clear the attic, the coal bunker, the shed & behind the shed. theres 3 doors that i need to get rid of and its driving me insane. hubs says he's happy to pay for it (as he isnt yet contributing to the house much) and will be a nice fresh start to spring. i would say i'd take it all to the tip but in all honesty i know tha i wouldn't coz i'm lazy. haha

Oooh i love a skip :rotfl:.

It so much fun ditching all the junk and making the place look lovely and clear :T.

Great that hubby can pay for it and like you said, it will be a great start. Don't suppose those doors are good enough to sell?. Make sure you don't dump anything with the slightest value, you know what carp some #bayers will buy. ;)

    Great :money: for Twinklet :j

everything possible to be sold in my house has been. the doors are really old egg box type doors. one has a hole in so not much use to anyone. alot of it is old carpet & rubbish from re-do in the house up. theres all the bathroom tiles that were ripped off & the kitchen tiles. hubs has a habit of just dumping it in the garden..... in the hope fairies will take it away i'm sure.

paid a couple of extra payments yesterday onto my credit cards. think im going to make a couple of pound more tomorrow :)

im so looking forward to a weekend with my mum. 1) it'll only be cost of petrol and maybe a coffee when we are out. 2) i havent seen her properly since told her about twinklet so will be nice to have some time together (even though i speak to her every day)

hope you are all ok. i've woken up in a great mood. Think we're having domin0s tonight with the cashback & 50% off :)
