I didn't say that it never happened that someone with children caught the bus at peak times.A friend of mine had twins, when they were just three she had another set. It was an education to see her getting them on and off buses never mind keeping them safe on the journey.

I must declare that I haven't read ALL the posts.
I am an old wrinkly and not too steady on my feet. One one occassion there were no vacant seats on the bus, and bless her, a child offered her seat only to be told, in a load voice,
"You sit in that seat, at least I paid for it."
Very true of course, but what example to give a youngster?0 -
