  • Me and OH have had a few iffy moments due to text messages from ex's/acquaintances/'friends'. eg. OHs ex from about 5 years ago would still send the occasional random text message, complete with 'x'(:eek::mad:), and she's supposed to be happily married with kids!

    As we've both agreed, neither of us have any control over who contacts us, either by call or by text message. It's how we respond to it that matters.

    Obviously because of what happened previously, it's easier to assume something else happened other than what he has told you. In saying that, I also agree with the posters who said he wasn't trying to hide the fact he got a call from a particular number, her name isn't saved on his phone, and the number isn't hidden under an alias. That all indicates that he isn't hiding something.

    Sounds like you haven't fogiven him and still don't trust him.
    Until you do, you cannot move on and may as well consider sacking it off.
