:staradmin Hi Everyone and Welcome to the December's 2012 Bankruptcy Club :staradmin

This club is for everyone who has gone or going through the process of Bankruptcy during December's 2012. So please feel free to join and post.

Pop your name on here, the date that you went/are going Bankrupt and the stage that you are at now in your Bankruptcy. Then just keep everyone in the club updated throughout the next year about your BR journey. That way we can all stick together and compare notes and we will be there to support each other throughout the different stages in our Bankruptcy.

Remember this is your board so keep posting :hello:

Obviously anyone can come on here and post anything that will help us all and you are all welcome. Any important questions that need answering please still post them on the main board, as you will receive more advice and help.
Hopefully it will be an extra place for friendship and support as we compare notes and discuss what is happening with our Bankruptcies.

Im very new to all this business and im keen to seek good advice and help over the next 12 months and offer help if possible,

Decided to go BR on 3rd December and completed my interview at 9am this morning so far everything is running smoothly

new basic account opened with barclays and card delivered today ( bit of a shame they dont offer telephone or online banking anymore )

cancelled my £45pm vodafone contract today and the final value fee of £729 is being included in my bankruptcy (under the instruction of my OR)

Need a phone for social and work purposes do i get a new cheaper contract or go rolling monthly sim only??

Do i need to inform my landline provider?
I want this to be a fresh start for me and my young family so any money saving advice would be much appreciated

Then they should be covered but seeing your in NI, do check with your OR to be on the safe side L'n'L
