    Morning all

DS1 is the latest victim to the bug in our house so has had to phone in sick to work. Rowan Tree hope you are slowly improving (I'm not 100% but able to be back to daily life).

CY good luck with the floods

MSG good luck at the GP, it could be hormone related so make sure he takes that into account

I'm off on an exclusions training course all day, hoping the traffic will be ok as it is a bit of a trip. Good think is there will be coffee breaks and lunch. It is in a holiday inn so hopefully will be ok.

Not back until late afternoon so no flying until then but I have tidied round this morning emptied DW and put WM on.

Mumto5 hugs for all of you, when stressed (and your DH sounds it) men just become unresponsive and certainly unsupportive. For now hun stay strong yourself, take any breaks you can and repeat after me 'this too will pass' for all things do in time. xxxx

  • Good morning:D

I haven't done much from the lists, except dailies. I have munched a few frogs. I have sorted my ebay sales. Why is it that 1 always pays after the rest? I took 3 items to the PO, and when I got back I had the last payment notification! That was Monday, so it has been posted today (hopefully). DH is picking up a parcel for me, so I am hoping they take the last one & stamp the COP. It is only letter-sized, and very low value, so if they don't I told him to just post it.

Bins all emptied, girls have had toast and are now playing with the dollies & handbags. 1 load in WM. I am going to sort out some bits in the kitchen so that we can ice some biscuits later, and we may go for a walk as well. The food bin needs washing up (bleugh!) If the girls are playing nicely later I will get ahead on the dinner prep & maybe do a little work-related paperwork.

(((hugs))) for Mumto5. Your DS sounds a bit like my DD2. She also seems down at times (although she seems better at the mo, after I carted her to the docs!!), and suffers from low self-esteem. She comes across as very rude at times, and DH is ready to throttle her!! She has also switched from FB to Twitter! I feel for you x

I have read SB5's post - and i am worn out now! :rotfl:

At paid stuff. Bedroom ok so need to focus off-list later on:

Shopping, we have no food (apparently!)
Post office (secret santa and overseas xmas cards to go)
Fleabay (need to get the camera out and do some listings)

Tomorrow I need diesel if I remember to get my 10p off per litre voucher off the fridge. Also, car got splatted by a passing truck and it appears to be cement-like  so need to give that a gentle rub. On fri I'm meeting a friend then dropping tots to inlaws for the night so I can go see my gran in hosp. Its an acute ward so no kiddies allowed.

Then, on Saturday I'm going to write some xmas cards  because it's december. Might have a glass of baileys whilst I'm at it...

Hugs sticks and spoons (although I'm not sure what the spoons are for???)

Good afternoon Ladies, long time no clean :-) I hope everyone is well and staying positive.

Having settled into my new home (almost) it's time I got a routine going again. Count me in for this week. Spurred on by an imminent family visit and tight deadlines at work, I need all the help I can get. So, I know it's midweek, but I am (with your help) going to crack on.

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room/Area
    Level One
Empty out the fridge, replace what is inside after wiping it out, making sure what is needed first is at the front
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Wipe down surfaces[/STRIKE]
    Clean floors in these rooms
Wipe kitchen cupboard fronts and kickboards
Wipe down fronts of major appliances (cooker, fridge, freezer etc)
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe & replace small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc (wipe under too, especially the toaster!)
Clean the oven if you missed it last week or it needs it

Extra tasks if you want to do more
[STRIKE]Wipe window sills[/STRIKE] and clean windows in these rooms
Clean the dish drainer, make sure you clean under it too
Clen any 'medium' size appliances, bread makers, slow cookers etc
Clean out and organize one drawer, more if you like
Check the freezer, see what needs using up

Tuesday - Lovely Living Rooms and Safe Stairs
    Level One
Vacuum floors in these areas, even if around clutter
    Clear anything from the stairs!
    Level Two
Move things so you can vacuum under them
Vacuum and wipe (if needed) sofas
Dust any areas below eye level
    Level Three
Dust anything above eye level (if safe to do so)
Clear anything that shouldn't be where it is, should the magazines really be on the floor?

Extra tasks if you want to do more
Clean windows in these areas, check curtains/nets/blinds while you are there, do they need a clean?
Check you have your Christmas card list done, if it's not done at least spend 10 minutes on it
Spend 15 minutes sorting paperwork, dealing with anything urgent NOW
27 Fling Boogie, you know the routine, grab a bag and clear that clutter!
Clean out the vacuum cleaner, empty the bag/bucket, clean filters if they are washable MAKE SURE YOU DON'T PUT THEM BACK UNTIL THEY ARE DRY!

Wednesday - Master Bedrooms and Landings
    Level One
Remove floordrobe, make sure all clothes are put away neatly
    Level Two
Strip bed linen and wash, replace with clean linen
    Vacuum floors in these areas
    Level Three
    Vacuum mattress
    Clean tops of drawers

Extra mission tasks, as always if you fancy an extra challenge try one or more of these
    Clean windows in these areas
Check through drawers, anything that should have been thrown out ages ago?
Cobweb removal upstairs, go on grab a duster and swipe them down
Clean a set of curtains, nets or blinds
Clean light fittings and light switches in any room, more than one if you like.

So, here goes - I am going to start on the kitchen. Radio on (loud) and a HHC coming up. 12.30 GMT, if anyone wants to join me!
:A FLY FIRST, KNIT LATER :A

I've defrosted the freezer, washed all the shelves and made loads of room for Christmas.

WM loaded (again) washing placed on airer.

I need a cup of tea!

Dusty I have taken your advice on board. I've rolled up my sleeves and been on a major flinging session. I have filled one wheelie bin and I feel a bit better. We are drowning in clutter and I'm being suffocated by it. I've binned the pile of bits I never get round to putting on eb£y and it's a weight off my mind.

GI - Thanks for your support, its comforting to know I'm not the only one worried.

This will explain spoons for you:

I'm scared. Just had a letter from DWP, they're going to phone me "some time in the next 2 weeks" to confirm my identity, (!!!!!!???) then send me a form to fill out, before hauling me in for an ESA interview.:( I'm telephone-phobic, and need Mr LW (ie my Carer) with me in order to go anywhere.:( I can't cope with this.:( They have a totally wrong phone number - it's a Bicester number they've quoted, so may be the number for where I used to live (I can't remember, tbh). Mr LW is going to call them in a bit to tell them they have the wrong number; I assume they'll require my mobile. I'm shaking even as I type this.:(
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
