Natty, we had a lovely robin at the bird table today, loads of bluetits, but yesterday we had the BIGGEST blackbird I've ever seen! It was huge!! I double-checked and it was a blackbird, but as big as a raven!!!

Wow I have never seen a big blackbird, we normally have small ones but they do make for their size in attitude :D And I normally only ever see one solitary bluetit :D You may find that your robin keeps coming back now he has found you..:D

spot cleaned food stains on LR carpet courtesy of DD3 (FARRRRR to tired to crack out the V@x tonight, and rubbed out just about ok :p)
cleaned seals on washing machine - yeurchhhhh!:eek::eek::eek:
removed & cleaned heat exchanger on tumble drier with a toothbrush - totally shocked how much lint I removed from it - removed lint from lint filter cavity with hoover :D:D:D - hoping my washing might dry a bit quicker now
wiped over utility cupboard doors & polished up utility sink flylady style :rotfl:
dusted behind LR radiator with my long handled radiator duster - my trug really proving its usefulness now :D -it also helped clean above my head (on a nice sturdy chair I may add) on bookcase in living room - thick with dust is NOT the word :p:eek::p:eek: also found two stray cards from last year, and a book DD2 was looking for about 2 years ago, and a broken toy car of DS's. so quite chuffed
febr£zed all curtains, throws and cushions in the living room

I have just had a sneaky peek at tomorrow's list - I may be able to cross quite a bit off if I do a stupid o'clock flying session and then get back to the other extras that are still outstanding in the daytime properly - but I must, must, must make a dent in that ironing - even if I have to do it sitting down :eek::eek:

An extra, extra, extra from the Living Room I will want to do is to remove a Cross Stitch picture from it's frame and clean the INSIDE of the glass (which I have never done since I stuffed and threaded the back of it some 17 years ago), but I suspect once I give the inside of the glass a thorough clean, the picture itself will look dirty and may need to be washed - cue unthreading, carefully handwashing, pressing between white towels, iron on wrong side, re-thread and put back in frame - now it is bugging me, if I don't de-frog it I am going to keep staring at it and will have to take it down :( sigh - time for a cuppa and a quick lurk and catch up on Fred ;)
The cold never bothered me anyway

I have a day at home today. I need to get organised for DD1's 21st this weekend. Despite my constant pleading/nagging/begging the older boys have mucked out their rooms and filled the laundry basket to beyond overflowing. I am so fed up with being housebound to feed the WM because they are so inconsiderate. It's a situation I can't win as the alternative is me picking up after them.

Dusty DS1 is not a drinker or a smoker. He's abandoned FB for twittering. DD1 tells us what we need to know when he tweets. He's very conscious about his height and has low self esteem. He's in a bad place but won't let me help. DH is too busy and its causing lots of problems between the 3 of us.

DH had his pre op appointment yesterday. He's being referred back to the surgeon as he is not happy to go ahead next week. His ear is currently infected but he won't go to see the GP. I'm also tired of this ongoing saga.

DD1 wants the newish BF to come to her birthday meal. I feel sorry for the man. He comes from a family of 4. We are 11 (me, DH, DS1, DS2, DS3, DD1, DD2, DSD and fiancee, DSS and GF) and + 4 grandparents. From what she has told me the new BF sounds a lot more promising than her ex.

I'm flying off list this week as I know what needs to be done for Saturdays celebration. I feel very put upon and unsupported by DH. He is overwhelmed with work and I feel very taken for granted. I think AF is about a week away so that probably isn't helping my frame of mind.
