Hello :santa2: (love the waving santa haha) and welcome!
Minefield is the right word, there is so many choices! It's not like other insurance, so many things to consider, so many almost hidden clauses
Managed to make one decoration last night (will upload a pic tonight). It looks alright, I hand stitched it rather than dragging the machine out the cupboard. Just doesn't look as nice as I pictured in my head, starting to feel a bit guilty about cutting up a gorgeous piece of crochet now
Another NSD today, that's my 3rd in a row :jCan't think of anything smart to put here...0 -

Bought this lovely crochet mat thing from ebay and cut the circles out...
Hand stitched it onto a bit of felt, stitched on the backing felt and stuffed it
(ignore the dust on the piano, I'm not a fly-lady :rotfl:) Can't think of anything smart to put here...0 -
They look really lovely. They look like snowflakes.
Get them on £BAY now xxx0 -
            Hehe, thank you

STILL not dressed the tree, supposed to do it last night but we had friends over and I was sewing. DH is out tonight, but I'm doing the tree on my own, can't wait any longer!
My boss was given a gift from a customer yesterday, she usually gets gift vouchers but this year she got a hamper of food. Luckily for me she doesn't really like many foods, so she has taken a few things and left the rest for me :j Lovely chutney and jams, christmas cake, some Lindt chocolate, tins of yummy soup, lovely! Can't think of anything smart to put here...0 -
Wow Zepsgal, Great news about the hamper. You lucky thing.
Get that tree done, you are bursting to do it :T:T0 -

Ohhhh they're lovely ..... we had a load of crochet mats (like the original) and sure they went to the CS
 - see I've no imagination & it would never have occurred to me to do something like that!Lovely chutney and jams, christmas cake, some Lindt chocolate, tins of yummy soup, lovely!

That's the tree done! Just need dh to get in so I can put Santa on top and switch the lights on :j
Home from work tonight to find one or both of the dogs have chewed the bottom branch on the tree! Needles all over the rug and stuck in their beards, wee terrors!! Plus I caught the puppy drinking the water that the tree is in..... Oh he is hard work, but so gorgeous!
I'm planning on writing a list of things to do this weekend. I seem to work better now I'm putting lists on the dfw every day, and actually ticking things off.
So far I've got Make an apron and Clean the oven :rotfl:Can't think of anything smart to put here...0 -
Well, my plan to clean the oven and make an apron didn't happen :rotfl:
Went Christmas shopping with DH on Saturday and got the last of his presents. He got me a few things as well, was a good laugh being in the same shop buying things, trying to hide from each other so we didn't see what we were buying
Spend a £30 Debenhams voucher I earned doing surveys as well, bought a lovely silver and glass lantern and a thermal food container thingy for DH so he can take hot food to college for his lunch.
Out with my lovely MIL today so she could get some things, treated her to lunch at pizza hut with a gift card I had. Managed to buy popcorn and sweets from pound land, that's the last of my things ticked off my list :T Christmas shopping is officially finished :T
Just made a big pot of spicy lentil soup for dinner tonight and made some bread rolls. That will do us both for lunch the next few days as well
Off to watch some stuff of my sky+ planner before it cancels and I lose everything I've recorded. Been watching normal tv the last few days, and the adverts, to prepare myself for when I can't fast forward :rotfl:Can't think of anything smart to put here...0 -

I guess you have cancelled SKY, I would love to cancel it, but hubby is addicted and wants it to be the last thing we get rid off.
I must admit, I hate watching something live, and then I HAVe to watch the adverts.
We have even been guilty of watching another program for a while just to give us chance to forward through adverts
.
Well done you for having the willpower to get rid of it xx0 -

I do that too!:o It's funny how quickly you get into the habit of things - when Sky+ came out I thought I'd never use the pause / ff stuff ... but I do!
I absolultely loathe watching programmes "live" now - even programmes that I love, there are always bits (cars driving to places etc) that are fast forward-able!
Well done Zepsgal .... I gave it up when I was clearing my big debts and you do get used it it and things are a lot better now you can get Free*sat so at least there's a lot more choice then there was then!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
