    hi SS

i find it quite good when you bills go out but you are expecting them coz then you can see exactly whats left and carry on.

hope your lasagne is nice. my hubs made one last night and lets just say...it wasnt the best :S

    have a great day :) x

    Morning LL,

Yes as bills get paid on my spreadsheet I highlight them yellow, and it does feel good to swipe off some more :T.

Only slight downside, is that I have made 90% of my debt overpayments already for this month, so feel like I have a long month ahead before I can pay off anymore. Oh well best get more stuff on #bay :rotfl:

Shame about hubbys lasagne. I have some leftover bolognaise sauce so am half way there already. Just cheese sauce and construction to do :)

will pop over and read your diary now xx
  • Hi Steph!

I see you've joined the Ultimate February Callenge! I found the January one really helpful in keeping me on track. Although I have been neglecting my own diary as a consequence.

Great idea for the teaching assisstant training.

I also had another employment idea for you: I was reading a blog I follow the other day, and the writer was saying she'd just hired a virtual assistant: somebody who deals with event and travel bookings, email responses, diary management etc. but entirely over the internet. I thought of you because you said you used to do PA/sectretarial work, didn't you? And you could do it from home, whenever you like.

I don't know how you start something like that, but I thought I'd share with you in case it helps.

Keep going, sounds like you're doing great and under control!

    Hi Karmachi

Yes I have joined the UFC. All these little challenges help keep me inspired and on track. They are great. See you there ;)

Thanks so much for thinking of me when you heard about that type of job. It sounds like the perfect thing for me, but how I would find a job like that is a little unknown to me. I will have a search around the internet, see what I can find. I never knew that type of job even existed :).

Thanks so much hun, will pop over and visit your diary in abit, see how you are getting on xxx
  • I was just posting on PLMBL's diary and I noticed I was 1 away from my 1000 post.

So I thought I would dash home to my diary and post it here.

Lets hope I am debt free before I reach 2000. Although the amount of gabble on, I might reach that next week :rotfl:

  • Delurcking to say hi.

i would def try and do volunteer work at the school. sounds like a really good foot in the door for when/if you want to go back to work when kids are a little older.

Also regarding Tax credits - They are paid 4 weekly not monthly.
so that means that for one month per year you get two payments :j.

    Morning Diary,

Not a whole lot to report. Sold another item on #bay for £42 last night and it was collected (even better) :T.

Withdrew it immediately into my bank account. Do have £12 worth of #bay fees to pay, and when I sell the next thing I will pay those fees. I hate it when the fees add up and it feels like I have a new bill to pay :o.

Ds had a friend for a sleep over last night and the little devils did'nt go to sleep until 12.30am . I am more than a little tired today :o.

Think I might get my woollies on and brave the garden to do some work. Birds also need cleaning out :o.

Really need to make a load of #bay money this month, Ideally £500 . Not over sure if I will succeed.

I have £150's worth listed already on #bay, (If it sells ;)), I have 1 more 22ct ring that might make £100, So thats £250, half way there. Just need to find some more stuff to list......Hmmmmm

If I don't find £500, my overdraft will go backwards this month as I have half of my additional BT bill to pay £150, Children need school shoes £80, and I had to pay £200 extra off my L1ttlewoods catalogue. So its been £430 on top of my usual bills.

Anyway hope you are all enjoying your weekend, its nice and sunny here. xx
  • Hi SSteph

De-lurking to say hello and to wish you well with your journey.

I am sure you will do a dance for joy the day you see the back of Littlewoods. Keep going and you will get there.
You are doing so well. :)
