    Update

Just listed another 10 items on fleabay.

Hubby gave me a wall heater that I could sell. Don't think he knew they sell for £120 new . Have tried a buy it now / Best offer of £85 ...Fingers Crossed.

Hope he does'nt spot how much I have listed it for, otherwise he will want that money for his Shotgun fund :(. He's not getting it :).

    Hi SS,

Wow - you sound so determined today. Fair play to you!!! How come Littlewoods are demanding so much money. They sound quite aggressive in their approach

Great news about the wall heater. That would really help with your overdraft!

    Hi ClearmyDebts

    Thanks for your post.

Hehe Have been doing some serious #baying lately. Because I am home with the children, I see it as my only way to help sort this mess out :o.

The problem with the L1ttlewoods account is everything I ordered (Mostly Childrens Birthday, Christmas Presents & Clothes) was on the interest free 20 weeks option. So they want alot of money fast . Trouble is I did'nt realise how all the orders added up to ALOT of money every month .

It is still interest free, apart from the £12 charge they are giving me every month :(. Will hopefully have it cleared in less than 4 months. Fingers Crossed.

At least with them demanding lots of money, it makes me pay it off quicker. I just thank heavens I had my LBM so I can just about keep them happy :o

    Hi NewLeaf

Yes so far, not sure what I am going to do when I run out of stuff to #bay. I am nearly there :o.

Looking into making things, but not sure if there is any money in it .
  • Morning Diary

A tonne of bills came out this morning, but for once I am expecting them all and my stress levels are nice and low. :j. Bank statement checked and spreadsheet nicely balanced.

Mortgage paid, which is a fab achievement considering how often I missed the DD last year :o.

I am completely consumed with how I can make some extra money. I look around my house with a completely different eye now. I am always thinking "do I need that?". :D

I listed some things on Amaz0n a few days ago. I had an old blank Tenancy agreement form from years ago and that has just sold for £7. The old me would just have thrown it in the bin :o. Just shows what small things are floating around the house that could bring in a little bit of money.

Not really decided what I am doing today. The house is quite tidy, washing machine is on.

Here is a starter list for today:

    Empty dishwasher
    Pack away clean clothes
    Prepare tonights dinner (Lasagne)

Am tempted to tackle DD's bedroom. It is a sea off scattered toys, hairbands & girly Lego ;).

I was also planning on trying to get out and do some weeding/clearing of the garden but its quite wet out there today so not feeling the love at the moment.

Keep getting survery reminders come through so maybe I ought to do a few surverys. You never know I might make 30p :rotfl:.

Hope you are all having a good Friday.:T
  • hi SS

i find it quite good when you bills go out but you are expecting them coz then you can see exactly whats left and carry on.

hope your lasagne is nice. my hubs made one last night and lets just say...it wasnt the best :S

    have a great day :) x

  • Thought I would add to my diary, that I am considering starting a training course to become a Teaching Assistant.

They have a local Adult Education Centre fairly near me and some new courses start in April.

I know my childrens school are happy for volunteers and I have already done a CRB through them as I helped out in school last year.

This is my only way to try to get back into work and still have the school holidays off.

I tried to call the adult Education place today but they are only open Monday - Thursday :(. Will have to try again next Monday.

Would be nice to have a purpose again, as much as it is nice to be home, I do feel quite bored and un-motivated.

Will see what they say on Monday :)
  • that would be excellent :)
